I’M SO EXCITED

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, this is a day filled with excitement. I’m happy to tell you that The First Nudie Musical is about to be screened at a film festival in Berlin, the first time it’s ever been shown in Germany. Isn’t that exciting? Isn’t that just too too?

I also got a whole slew of DVDs – you see, I’m a voting member of some DVD Academy and I judge the special features and commentaries of DVDs. Every month or so I get nice big packages of free DVDs – the nice thing is these are normally DVDs I would never ever purchase. So, I got some big boxed set of Family Guy and Buffy TV shows, I got that Renee Zellwegger/Doris Day movie, I got Antoine Fisher and One Hour Photo, the new SE of There’s Something About Mary, and about six others I can’t remember the names of. Isn’t that exciting? Isn’t that just too too?

I can also tell you that I shall have something lovely to say in tomorrow’s notes that will continue the excitement, at least for me. My goodness there is just so much excitement that I might have to have to sing and dance to the sounds of the disco hit, I’m So Excited. Yes, let’s all get off our various and sundried butt cheeks and sing and dance to the sounds of the disco hit, I’m So Excited.

My goodness that was exciting, and exhilarating, too. Well, why don’t we all click on the Unseemly Button below because frankly there’s too much excitement going on in this half of the notes.

Has anyone noticed how much excitement there is in these here notes? I have, and frankly I’m having palpitations. The show we’ve been working on this last week is all about different things you can do to take care of your skin. There are many shots of a woman getting Botox, and a woman getting a cosmoplast – they are quite horrifying (yes, Virginia, I directed that shoot and I’m afraid I had the cameraman get in very close). It’s all quite nauseating and I had to make certain I wasn’t viewing it prior to eating.

My diet is going very well. Yesterday, for example, I ate a turkey sandwich on rye with a side of coleslaw. Later in the evening I ate some low-fat gram popcorn. Isn’t that a fine diet? I hope I will soon lose weight left and right or, at the very least, right and left.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must sing and dance to the sounds of the disco hit, I’m So Excited, I must hie myself to the Oaks of Sherman to work all the livelong day, I must eat a very light lunch (I didn’t even have a bagel yesterday, despite it being bagel day), and then I must come home to my very own actual house. Today’s topic of discussion: It’s Ask BK Day, the day in which you get to ask all your excellent questions – it’s also Ask Dear Reader Day, the day in which you get to ask any Dear Reader any excellent questions you might have. I will attempt to answer your excellent questions during the day within the posts. Speaking of posts, let’s have loads of lovely posts for my mental delectation, shall we?
