SOMETHING IS STIRRING

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, we are working working working (that is three workings – the original working and two revivals), trying to implement the computer things and port everything over to our new server and software. As you can see, the site is up and running as usual – the only functions that we cannot do at this particular time is post and search. Depending on how long the importing takes we could be up this evening for posts or it might take a bit longer than that. However, it’s good that we’re on a weekend and by Monday we’re hopeful that things will be semi-normal in terms of posting and such. I will keep you updated via e-mail. The good news is that our handy-dandy chat room is open twenty-four hours a day, so come on in and do your posting via chat. I know Mr. Mark Bakalor is working tirelessly (he is doing so because I have threatened to remove his eyes from their sockets if he does not work tirelessly), and we’re really hoping the post function will be happening sooner than later. There’s just no predicting, and we’ll have to do a test run. Now, once the posting function is up and running things will be just as they were – you’ll post to the end of the notes as usual. At some point next week, we’re hopeful that our brand spanking new handy-dandy chat board will be up and then things will be smooth as silk around these here parts.

So, come on in to the chat room, stay as long as you like, and we’ll party there until the cows come home or until Mr. Mark Bakalor has this fershluganah site back to normal.
