Well, dear readers, she of the Evil Eye will be here so I must write these here notes in a trice. Last night we had our best show – the audience reaction was fantastic for all of it. Interestingly, I think that due to the reviews, people are coming in to the theater knowing it’s funny, which is very helpful – it puts them in the total right frame of mind right from the top. I also made a change to the opening number tonight which made a moment work for the first time. It’s an important moment and it just wasn’t landing for reasons which are now clear to me – so I wrote something new, worked on it with Tammy and then we put it in tonight without telling the rest of the company. The looks on their faces were priceless, and it got a nice laugh where there had only been silence before. The sound was much better – the guy who rented us the equipment came by and gave us a whole better system, so now things are smoother and will get better from here. We had quite a nice-sized house, too. Everyone in the cast could feel the positive energy and it informed the performances. Hopefully, it will be like this often. Isn’t that exciting? Isn’t that just too too?
Our very own Juliana A. Hansen was in attendance, and after the show she, her mother, and I went to Marie Callendar’s in Burbank and stuffed ourselves silly. The food was actually quite yummilicious, which I found surprising.

Yes, you heard it here, dear readers, these here notes will be brief. I wonder if it is necessary to wear briefs whilst writing brief notes? Or can one wear boxers? And if one can wear boxers can the notes be brief or will they be boxer? These are the questions that roam around in the windmills of my mind.
Yes, Virginia, I shall wear briefs whilst writing these brief notes because it is simply the thing to do. Have I mentioned that I ate myself silly? I did. And now I feel large as a barge, which is also the title of a song by our beloved Meltz and Ernest.
Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must leave the home environment for a brief time whilst wearing briefs, then I must return to the home environment, watch a DVD, and then be on my way to the theater for tonight’s performance. Today’s topic of discussion: What are your favorite undergarments? Briefs or boxers. Or, conversely, boxers or briefs. And for the female contingent, what type of unmentionables do you favor? This is a bold topic, but I feel we must be bold sometimes or else we shall whither and die on the vine. Or, we shall sunset and vine on the whither. In briefs – always in briefs.
