THE LIVELY AND FESTIVE NOTES

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, I must hurry and write these here notes because shortly I must hie myself to Mr. Edgar Rice Burrough’s Tarzana to visit Dr. Chew, the dentist. Tomorrow he’ll be reconstructing one of the two childhood cavity fillings that need replacing. He does the second on two weeks later. Then I must hurry back to the home environment for a quick meeting with Marcy, the Marketing Lady, then I must reread the changes I made to my script and make sure I like them, and see if there are any others I’d like to implement, and then I must prepare for my very interesting dinner and I don’t know if anyone has noticed or not but his has turned into one of those consarned run-on sentences that just keeps going no matter how I want it to stop because run-on sentences seem to have a mind of their own and the only way to stop them is to hope someone throws a period to monkey up the run-on works so let’s all clap our hands real loud and say, “I do believe in periods, I do believe in periods” come on you know you can do it, clap louder and louder and. Whew. You do believe in periods after all. Where was I? Oh, yes, my very interesting dinner. Our very own Richard Valley and his ever-lovin’ Tom Amorosi are coming here at six-thirty and then we are driving to Calabassas to sup with the divoon Kasey Rogers aka Laura Elliot aka Mrs. Guy Haines. I haven’t seen her for about four years, so it will be nice to get together again for a lively and festive supper. Isn’t that exciting? Isn’t that just too too?

Yesterday I got quite a bit done. I actually sat outside most of the day, doing my script stuff sitting at my patio table amidst the lush greenery surrounding the pool environment. How pleasant it is out there. In six years of living in my other home environment, I don’t believe I went out in the yard more than three times. I took a nice long Jacuzzi last night – I love it even more now that the colored lights work. I sit there like so much fish, whilst the lights in the pool and Jacuzzi change colors before my very eyes – blue, pink, green, white, yellow – it’s all very lively and festive. In fact, these here notes are quite lively and festive, aren’t they? I feel they are so very lively and festive and reading them I’m beginning to feel like a gazelle doing a back-flip in the middle of a tennis court. Yes, that’s what I’m beginning to feel like.

Well, why don’t we all click on the Unseemly Button below so we can see what other lively and festive things are happening.

Yes, Virginia, thing are lively and festive in this section, too. In fact, in this section I feel like a winged bird going to the bathroom on someone’s car. Yes, that’s what I feel like and no, no, they can’t take that away from me.

Thanks to those who’ve already ordered Writer’s Block – I was a bit taken aback how many orders came in so quickly, including a couple from people who haven’t bought any books here before. They’ve all been shipped with the exception of three I got last night – those will go out today. I can’t wait until they start arriving. The first two reviews are up at amazon – one from our very own dear reader Panni, and one from our very own Tammy Minoff. Check them out.

My goodness, I am feeling so lively and festive at this moment – of course, that will change as soon as Dr. Chew thrusts a needle filled with Novocain into my mouth. I just don’t know how lively and festive I shall feel then. But, until then, and after then, I shall feel lively and festive and no one better say “boo” about it. Damn them, damn them all to hell.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, be lively and festive, I must have a cavity re-filled, I must proof my script, I must do some errands, I must meet with Marcy, the Marketing Lady, and I must ship orders. Today’s topic of discussion: It’s Ask BK Day, the day in which you get to ask me or any other dear reader any old thing you want to, and we get to answer any old way we want to. So, let’s have loads of lovely questions, shall we, and loads of lovely postings that are all lively and festive.
