THE ABOUT-TO-BE BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, it’s a beautiful Saturday, or it will be a beautiful Saturday when I actually arise on Saturday morning. I, of course, am writing these here notes just before midnight of the night before Saturday, so, as you can see, it’s not really a beautiful Saturday quite yet, but I have no doubt that it will be a beautiful Saturday once I arise to greet the day. You see, I am projecting that it will be a beautiful Saturday because we’ve had about five beautiful days in a row. So, I feel secure in projecting that it will be a beautiful Saturday even though it is not a beautiful Saturday at this time, oh, no, it is not a beautiful Saturday at this time. Speaking of beautiful Saturdays, I had a lovely Friday day and evening. I first went to Mr. Grant Geissman’s home environment, where I heard two new tracks. We then rehearsed Mr. Guy Haines’ duet with Miss Jessica Rush, and it is going to be really good. Miss Jessica Rush has a wonderful voice, perfect for Daisy Mae. And, on top of that, she’s a swell person and a lot of fun. After the rehearsal, she, Grant, and I went to a local diner. I had a BLTA, which was yummilicious, and Jessica and Grant both had pumpkin pie. If anyone saw the recent tour of Cinderella with Miss Eartha Kitt, Miss Jessica Rush played the titular role. She was also in the Mamma Mia touring company that our very own Miss Lisa Richard was in. After that, I had to hie myself to the Hills of Beverly (I love those hills of Beverly), where I attended an auction with our very own Mr. Nick Redman, and his delightfully delightful chum, Miss Julie Kirgo. The auction was most amusing, and I even managed to score to items (see yesterday’s posts for details). I got out of there by three and headed back to the home environment, where I had several packages waiting for me. I then had a surprise dinner invite, which I accepted. It was a home-cooked meal of corned beef and cabbage. I had quite a nice time, and even gave an eBay lesson after dinner. All in all, it was a lovely April Fool’s Day.

Because of my surprise dinner invite, I never got to finish the DVD I was watching, so my DVD reports will have to wait until tomorrow. I hope to have quite a few DVD reports tomorrow because I hope to watch quite a few DVDs today on this beautiful Saturday.

Well, why don’t we all click on the Unseemly Button below so I can get to sleep so I can get up so I can see the beautiful Saturday that I know will be awaiting me.

My allergies are really bugging me. They’re not as bad as they’ve been on other occasions, but they just make my throat dry and itchy and they make me feel slightly “off”.

Have you ever felt slightly off. How did slightly off react when being felt? Did slightly off smack you upside your head? Just asking.

I am now going to try one of the yummilicious-looking cookies that dear reader Hisaka sent me from far off Japan. I will have my report momentarily.

My report: I first had the billet aux amandes chocolat. Light, airy, and entirely yummilicious. I second had the bateau de macadamia. Also light and airy and simply one of the best cookie/biscuits I’ve ever eaten. An instant new favorite. The lovely thing about these is that each little packet contains one cookie/biscuit and they’re quite tiny. I love these cookie/biscuits. A big thank you and haineshisway.com kiss is wending its way to far off Japan.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, eat more of these yummilicous cookie/biscuit thingees, I must do some errands, I must watch many DVDs, I must make phone calls, I must rehearse songs with Mr. Guy Haines, who is trying to get his voice in shape, and I must take a nice walk and perhaps even a nice swim on this beautiful Saturday to be. Today’s topic of discussion: What are your favorite TV cartoons – cartoons made expressly for television – from the golden age right up to today. I’ll start – I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle the most. Prior to that, I loved Crusader Rabbit. I also loved the completely outrĂ© and completely wacky Clutch Cargo, which I just go on DVD (the cartoon with the real mouths). I leave the rest to you, dear readers. Let’s have loads of lovely postings, shall we, on this soon-to-be beautiful Saturday.
