NUCLEAR MELTDOWN

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, I must write these here notes in a hurry because she of the Evil Eye will be here shortly. This past week has been a toughie, emotionally, for reasons I’ve hinted at, and I am feeling very battered and bruised right now – or should that be very battered and Bruced right now? It all came to a head last evening when I had a bit of a nuclear meltdown, which is very unusual for me. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s usually a doozy. In the next day or two, I’m going to have to do something very unpleasant and something very difficult and I don’t relish it, or even ketchup or mustard it. I will, of course, try to get back to being my jovial self as soon as possible, as soon as I figure out exactly how to deal with what I’m dealing with. And I hope that’s sooner than later, believe me. Thank you all for allowing me to be an air duct and to vent.

Yesterday, the day of the nuclear meltdown, I had to have several telephonic conversations, I had to watch two DVD versions of Deceit, I had to have a lunch, I had to go to the editing room where I spent another four hours only to find out that we’re going to have to spend another four hours on Monday. But, after that, we really should be through. By the time I got back home I was feeling completely overwhelmed. Not merely whelmed, mind you, but completely overwhelmed. Then I had a nuclear meltdown and then I took a nice hot shower.

Well, why don’t we all click on the Unseemly Button below because I need to try to get a few hours of sleep before she of the Evil Eye comes a’knocking on my a’door.

Have I mentioned that I had a nuclear meltdown?

Was that a paragraph or a sentence? It was a paragraph. It was a sentence. It was a paragraph. It was a sentence. It was a paragraph AND a sentence! What am I, Chinatown all of a sudden?

Today I shall be doing not much of anything. I may try to go to LACC to see their production of Moon Over Buffalo – if I’m feeling up to it. If not, I’ll just hang around and watch a DVD or three.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, ship some things that I should have shipped two days ago, I must drive about in my motor car, I must do various and sundried errands and I must try to get over my nuclear meltdown. Today’s topic of discussion: If you could write a biography on anyone in the world at any time in history, who would you write about? Let’s have loads of lovely postings, shall we, whilst I grapple with my dilemma. It’s delightful, it’s d’limit, it’s dilemma.
