SHORT NOTES

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, today we shall be having short notes. It is already twenty minutes past midnight and I am tired and in need of sleep. And I must be up early, so here we go. Yesterday was a day in which things happened. I got up early, and 1000 CDs arrived at the home environment. I began packaging them, and then Cason arrived around ten. It took close to two hours to get everything done, as there were a lot of bigger overseas and dealer packages going out this time. We then took everything to the post office and then the UPS Store. After that, we had a spot of lunch at Jerry’s Deli, after which I came home and began proofing the last third of the book. That took the rest of the day and right up to the time I left to go hear the reading of a new musical.

Last night, I attended the reading of a new musical. It’s a show with potential, but needs work and focus and even focus and work. It’s a three-character show with a lot of songs, most of which are way too long and without form. They got some good feedback after, and then I stayed and gave them my feedback. So, it will be interesting to see what happens from here.

My goodness, these notes are short. These are simply short notes, there are no one or even two ways about it. Tomorrow we’ll have long notes, but today we have short notes. Perhaps we should eat some short ribs or have a short stack of Du-Par’s pancakes. Perhaps we should move directly to the next paragraph.

Last night, I watched no motion pictures of any sort on any medium, but I do have two Blu and Rays to watch this evening – Up In The Air, and Capitalism: A Love Story, both of which I’m really looking forward to. In the bedroom environment I’ve been watching a Blu and Ray entitled Black Dynamite, a spoof of blaxploitation films. I’ll have more to say on that after I’ve finished watching.

Well, why don’t we all click on the Unseemly Button below because I must be up early, and have a somewhat busy first half of the day. And, just in case anyone has forgotten, these are short notes.

Today, I shall be up early and will hopefully have a conversation with muse Margaret, going over a lot of little things I’ve marked in the book – I don’t want to change these little things until she tells me she’s okay with them. I did find one little cut in the last chapter (the chapter that’s been the most problematic, but that’s now working just fine) – I think I figured out a better way to begin it. We’ll see how muse Margaret feels. That will probably take thirty minutes, and then I’ll jump right over to the long musical and give all those notes. Then I’m having lunch with the photographer who took my favorite head shot ever, and then I’ll come home and hopefully be able to relax and have the rest of the day free from any other work.

Tomorrow and Friday I have errands and whatnot to attend to and maybe a lunch or two and a meeting or two, but they should be fairly light days. Tomorrow, of course, I’m hoping to work with Grant on the book design for a few hours.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, do all of the above. Today’s topic of discussion: It’s Ask BK Day, the day in which you get to ask me or any dear reader any old question you like and we get to give any old answer we like. So, let’s have loads of lovely questions and loads of lovely answers and loads of lovely postings, shall we, whilst we conclude these very short notes.
