MOOT

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, there are so many things I’d like to write right now, but instead I’m going to take the high road and just say that those who live to cause others unnecessary grief will fester in their own oily puss and strangle themselves. My goodness, that was rather poetic, wasn’t it? I really don’t care for the word puss, I must say. That is just an ugly word, and yet it is so appropriate for some people, those people who will, of course, fester in their own oily puss and strangle themselves. Other than that, I’m staying moot, moot do you hear me? I will be the mootinest person writing daily notes on this very day. But before I move on, just let me say that those who live to cause others unnecessary grief will fester in their own oily puss and strangle themselves. Oh, and they can kiss my ASS. Moving right along, why don’t we talk about yesterday? Yesterday was a peculiar sort of day. For example, I got up. That was peculiar. I then awaited the arrival of my helper but, like Godot, my helper never arrived. In fact, I didn’t hear from her until mid-afternoon. It transpired that she had some abdominal pains, went to the emergency room in the middle of the night, was given some pills, and said pills knocked her out until about two in the afternoon. It kind of made my day a little screwy, but we’ll try to get everything done before the Busting CDs arrive on Thursday. After that, I had to deal with more unnecessary drama, then I had a work session via iChat with David Wechter – that was fun, at least. About the drama I shall remain moot, moot do you hear me? I then sat on my couch like so much fish.

Last night, I watched a motion picture on Blu and Ray entitled Walkabout, a film by Nicholas Roeg, starring Jenny Agutter. I’ve always liked this film, and seeing it again is always nice. It’s very surreal at times and really has quite a dreamlike atmosphere. The cast is excellent, Mr. Roeg’s direction is unique, and the score by John Barry is absolutely gorgeous – one of his all-time greats. The transfer is very nice, but unlike most who just automatically say that any Criterion Blu-Ray is tops, it’s not quite that. There’s nothing really wrong with it, but it’s never quite as sharp as it should be, at least to these here eyes.

After the movie, I took a nice hot shower, then did some work on the computer. And remained moot, moot do you hear me?

I found all the posts about Lost to be very interesting, here and elsewhere. It certainly is garnering a lot of discussion, both yea and nay and also nay and yea. So, all in all, a peculiar day.

Well, I have nothing further to say about the peculiar yesterday, so here’s hoping for a lovelier than lovely today. Why don’t we all click on the Unseemly Button below because for this section I am moot, moot do you hear me?

Today will hopefully be a lovelier than lovely day. I have errands and whatnot to do in the morning hours, then I’ll hopefully pick up some nice mail and even nicer packages, and then I have a lunch meeting at the West Hollywood Hugo’s. After that, I’ll come home and have a work session with David Wechter via iChat – and we’ll split up the first batch of scenes for our new project and begin writing them. That will be fun. Tonight is mine all mine and I shall probably watch a motion picture on Blu and Ray.

Tomorrow, I have a morning work session for the long musical, a session that will last precisely ninety minutes. Then my helper will come and we will address packages and put postage on them. Then CDs arrive on Thursday morning and she’ll be back to help ship them. Friday is another work session for the long musical, and then I think I have some show or other to see.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, do errands and whatnot, pick up packages, have a lunch meeting, have a work session, and relax. Today’s topic of discussion: I know we’ve done it before, but I like it – what is your all-time favorite theater poster design and your all-time favorite movie poster design? Let’s have loads of lovely postings, shall we, whilst I remain moot on the subject of those who live to cause others grief and will fester in their own oily puss and strangle themselves. Moot, do you hear me?
