Well, dear readers, I have finally entered all the fixes, had a telephonic conversation with muse Margaret to go over all the stuff I did today, and the book is now done. I’ve e-mailed it to Mr. Grant Geissman. I’m hoping we can work on it this weekend. Once again, it took most of the day – I didn’t finish with it until almost six. I did have time to lunch with Mr. Barry Pearl – he’ll be associate producing the new Outside the Box episodes, so we met yesterday to brainstorm casting ideas. I also picked up one little package. Otherwise, there’s not much to report about yesterday. Oh, I got up. I did that. I did sit on the couch like so much fish and start to watch a Maigret movie, but instead I went back through proofer three’s stuff one last time, and I undid a few things I’d done. I’m sure the who/whom thing will rankle some readers, but aside from a handful of whoms, I’ve left most of the whos alone because I don’t think whom is whom I am and it just sounds bloody awkward almost every time, especially when there are two or three in a row. However, in looking through a few other books of recent vintage, I see other authors agree and aren’t being so rigorous. So, I’m vigorous but not rigorous.
I organized the music for the new Kritzerland show, and have assigned all but three songs, since we’re still waiting on our final singer. I’m also trying to get our new Kritzerland releases ready – one of them I just got the tapes on and I’m really trying to rush that one through. We’ll have two soundtracks, and then, a week later, a show reissue. Poor Kritzerland really needs to get some dough in the coffers right about now. But they’re fun releases and I think they’ll all do well.
Has anyone noticed that this month is more than half over? How did that happen? This month is flying by, like a gazelle in penny loafers. Does anyone still wear penny loafers? Do they still make penny loafers? That would be about the only useful thing for a penny these days. I want some penny loafers, don’t you? And whose bright idea was it to have penny loafers? Why not nickel loafers or dime loafers or quarter loafers? Why a fershluganah penny loafer? It’s so arbitrary. I’ve asked it to not be so arbitrary but it just responds by being arbitrary. What the HELL am I talking about? Perhaps I’ll just write 10,000 words on the penny loafer. Perhaps I won’t. Perhaps I’d like to mosey on over to the bedroom environment. O
Why is there an O sitting up there like so much fish? Just look at that lonely O. The Lonely O – that’s the title of my next novel. That O is disturbing me aesthetically but once the O is there it’s there. O, I forgot to mention that for twenty minutes we had a huge downpour of rain. Huge. That was it. That’s probably our rainy season.

Today, I shall go on the hunt for a nice pair of penny loafers. I shall also try to jog, I shall do errands and whatnot, pay some Kritzerland bills, write some liner notes, choose our final cast member, hopefully pick up some packages, eat, and relax.
Tomorrow, singers will be coming by to gather up their CDRs and sheet music. I may or may not have a dinner. I have no idea what’s happening on the weekend, although I will definitely catch up on some movie viewing. Next week will be very busy with prepping the Kritzerland releases. And I booked my flight to New York – I’ll be there on March 10, and come home early on the 13th. Hopefully, we can have a little gathering whilst I’m there. Put it in your calendars. And if anyone would like to come see the East Coast singer, that’s why I’ll be there, so we can put together a little party of people.
