QUEASY DOES IT

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, I am, as I write these here notes, feeling very queasy.  Just writing the word queasy makes me feel queasy.  I’m beginning to wonder if I ate something bad today, although I only had a chicken salad sandwich and then some Chicken In a Bisket crackers with some Bonbel cheese.  But I am feeling queasy and that’s all there is to it.  I do hope it abates quickly because I don’t really need this right now.  This queasy feeling began about two hours ago.  That queasy feeling is getting worse by the minute.  Be gone, queasy feeling.  Perhaps if I stop writing the word queasy that would be helpful.

Yesterday, I finally got a wonderful night’s sleep of ten hours.  Then we hauled off some more DVDs to Amoeba, then I had the chicken salad sandwich, then I came home.  We got all the Liberty Valance CDs shipped, so that was good.  Then I did some work on the computer, had some telephonic calls, and basically relaxed.  Then I sat on my couch like so much fish.

Last night, I watched one of those concert things, this one on Blu and Ray – Claudio Abbado conducting the Lucerne Festival Orchestra in Mahler’s Sixth Symphony.  I love this work a lot, and Mr. Abbado and his orchestra did a really lovely job, save for the cowbells, which weren’t really “there” enough for my taste.  The melodies in this symphony are stunning and it was grand fun to watch and hear it.

After that, the queasiness began, and got worse as the evening wore on.  I’ve still got an hour before posting these here notes and I’m not sure where this queasiness will lead, but I hope it gets better without getting worse, because worse will bother me no end.

So, I can’t really write longish notes today, but yesterday’s notes were so longish that today’s will have to be shortish due to the queasiness.

Tomorrow, I will hopefully arise feeling better.  If so, I have a ten o’clock appointment with Teddy to get coifed and boy do I need to get coifed.  If I’m still queasy, I suppose I’ll cancel and go tomorrow morning.  After that, I’ll probably come right home and try to rest.

Tomorrow I’m not sure what’s happening, Friday I have a work session for the Kritzerland show and a run-through with Juliana, Saturday I have a lunch, presuming I feel better by then, and Sunday who knows.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, get coifed if I’m feeling better, hopefully pick up some packages, but mostly relax.  Today’s topic of discussion: It’s Ask BK Day, the day in which you get to ask me or any dear reader any old question you like and we get to give any old answer we like.  So, let’s have loads of lovely questions and loads of lovely answers, shall we, whilst I hit the road to dreamland, after which I hope I will be feeling queasy no more.
