UNABATED NAUSEA

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, I’m still nauseous and I’m quite bored of being so. Frankly, nausea makes me nauseous. I just want to feel up to snuff, and snuff is feeling pretty good these days. I had a very bad night of nausea and got very little sleep due to that, and then she of the Evil Eye arrived and I had to leave. I went and had an omelet and a bagel and a bit of white rice. That seemed to go down okay, and yet still I had nausea. I did a few things then came home, did a little stuff on the computer then sat on my couch like so much fish.

I watched a documentary about adult performer Mary Milligan from England – it was very interesting. I did doze quite a bit during it and had to keep going back. Still the nausea would not abate. I hate unabated nausea, don’t you? After that, I watched a motion picture entitled Moonwalkers, a smart-assy kind of movie about the CIA trying to enlist Stanley Kubrick to shoot a fake moon landing in 1969 in case the real one goes awry. It’s hyper-violent, has some amusing moments, but ultimately fails because it’s so in love with its own hipness and cleverness. It’s a fun plot and kind of a wasted opportunity. I did enjoy Ron Perlman as a CIA agent, but it’s just endless violence and drugs, and it just becomes repetitive and tiresome after a while.

After that, I went to Gelson’s and got some white rice and had a large helping of it, hoping that would be good, but the nausea remains unabated. Then I just tried to zone out and relax.

Today, I shall hopefully arise after a good night’s beauty sleep and hopefully all nausea will be abated. I have to prep our new release, do a Facebook event page for the Kritzerland show, but basically just relax and get ready for the big week ahead.

Tomorrow we begin three or four days of choreography rehearsals. I’ll work with whatever cast members are not involved on other stuff. Our drummer is coming in tomorrow as is Lanny, who’s going to write the dance music for this big Hullabaloo number we’re doing.   I also have lots of other stuff to do – Kritzerland show stuff, writing the commentary, getting our new title announced, and other errands and whatnot. I also have a few meeting and if the nausea has abated, a few meals.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, prep our new release, do an event page, and relax. Today’s topic of discussion: It’s free-for-all day, the day in which you dear readers get to make with the topics and we all get to post about them. So, let’s have loads of lovely topics and loads of lovely postings, shall we, whilst I hit the road to dreamland, tired of the unabated nausea.
