The issue is that doing so makes it seem like you've released it for stock and amateur, and then that pretty much damns it in the eyes of producers who might like to put on a first class production in NY, for example, or elsewhere.

The situation is similar for film festivals. If you premiere your film at a small festival, the big ones will have nothing to do with you. So you have to decide at which festival you want to premiere and then hope they'll accept you, because you've already passed on smaller ones who would have shown your film. I understand the thought behind it, but it's still nervewracking!

Our first stop was the Rehoboth Beach Farmer's Market.

There's a new market opening down the street from the new house in a church parking lot on Saturday mornings. I'm quite excited about having local produce so near. I'll be taking my mom there when she comes to check on our progress on the house. (I know she'll HATE the colors, but DH and I like them, so...)

Fletcher, the Dalmatian, is not pleased with the new toilet seat.

Why don't you just leave the seat up, like most guys do?

Ask BK:

Isn't there a Susan Egan CD you've been working on, too?

To me, Tyrone Power is reason enough to watch ANYTHING.

Ain't that the truth.

Well, off to do a little writing and then back down for more TV. I cleaned the den this morning, so I won't have that to think about later.

I highly recommend reading THE BRIDGE.

DR Jane - I just checked it out here at the library.  He has a newer book titled Magic Time - have you read it, too?

I didn't know, or forgot, about the second book.  I will have to get it.  My book group read THE BRIDGE & it was one of our best discussions.  We all loved the book.

Adrianna, I like that version of ALICE---it's a great cast, especially Spike Milligan as the Mock Turtle and Dudley Moore as the Doormouse (before he became a household word.)

I saw this at one of Atlanta's last movie palaces, wich was soon to be destroyed. Alice herself, Fiona Fullerton, made an appearance.

I bought this DVD at a dollar store for...wait for it...$1!  And someone (Rodzinski, I think) posted a link where one could download the original soundtrack and make your own CD, which I downloaded, but haven't actually burned the CD, yet.

Fargo, ND's original name was Centralia...

There's a Centralia, Washington.  I wonder if there's a connection. :)

I have this in vinyl---I'm sure I've rendered it unplayable like most other albums I like.

a QUESTION FOR THE NYC CAST

The Lincoln Center production of South Pacific which opens in Jan 2008 is considered the first Broadway revival of the musical (Hard to believe) but why is the 1967 Lincoln Center Revival with Florence Henderson & Giorgi Tozzi NOT considered a Broadway Revival?

Revisionist history? ::)

That's very sad to hear about Jerry Hadley.  I love him on the Show Boat and Candide recordings.  I only have a couple of other recordings of his (not operatic recordings, though) and really enjoyed them. :-\

My goodness, I just haven't stopped e-mailing and having telephonic calls for the last two hours straight.  And now I have to shave and shower and be on my way to rehearsal and then dinner.

I've been trying to arrange for the fundraiser funds to be put in my account, as we have items to pay for starting in a week or so - we all worked out how that would be done, but since the funding is coming through school channels, it just takes forever to do anything.  But, I want it all there before I get so inundated with The Brain that I won't have time to deal with it.

And speaking of Patti LuPone...Lady Bird Johnson Dies At 94.  (Patti played her in a made-for-TV movie about LBJ, played by Randy Quaid).
