3.) “If you had a time machine, would you travel back in time and abort Bin Laden?”

We believe you.

It would have to be a fixations study of a Bollyball player before we'd point fingers!

They're probably checking Daniel Hugh Kelly's schedule to ascertain when he can break out of prison and stalk the poor boys some more.

LOL! No kidding. We haven't seen the last of that wacko character! Maybe by the time we get back to Luke, he'll be finished with rehab!   ::)

My first experience with "pub food" was a major let-down.

Except that cornucopia is not spelled with an "e" on the end.

Check you glasses TCB "cornucopić" - does not end in the letter "e" it ends in the ligature "ć" - a diphthong.

DR Ron, I hope you're not coming down with something serious. I worried I was a few days ago when I was sleeping poorly and feeling very overwhelmed with things. Fortunately, whatever I was feeling went away.

Is it my imagination, or is Joy Behar starting to look like Charles Busch in full drag?

Why do I even have these thoughts or care?

I will be E&T much of this weekend, starting this evening.  We have company from out of town.

Just because you have company, why should we have to suffer?

Back after a fun day with many professional friends and a good conference.  With donations from DR Ben's employer, I'd assembled 2 gift bags for the door prize drawings.  The people who won them were pleased, as was I for winning an Applebee's gift card.

Catching up on the posts, I see that vibes are needed for:

DR Cillaliz and her DC Callie
DR Kerry for family fortitude
DR Ron Pulliam on the impending departure of 2 coworkers

Maybe you've developed a new step in the grieving process -after Depression and before Acceptance.

I had some fine fine meals while in L.A. - one in a restaurant that was called The House, and one at a restaurant in the Westin Hotel.

Good Evening!

Well, I think I just left my last Mary Poppins rehearsal.  The put-in went very well, and Alexandra did a great job.  She goes on for real tomorrow afternoon, and I'll probably stand in the back of the house and watch her first show.  *And then my parents will be in the audience Sunday afternoon for her second show.  -Meanwhile, I think I'll be over at Carnegie Hall listening to Beethoven piano sonatas played by Andras Schiff.  :)

And don't get me started on newspint ink blending in with fish and chips :P

Well, they stopped serving fish & chips in newspaper/newsprint years ago due to concerns about the lead in the ink getting in the food.  Of course, there are those who swear that the fish & chips don't taste as good now that they're served in white butcher paper or plain newsprint.  Maybe the ink added that certain je ne sais quoi?.

As for food in L.A...  Well, there is some good food to be had out there.  However, it's just all spread out.  There's no real "restaurant hub" in L.A.  *However, I will say there was some mighty fine dining all along the strip Old Pasadena.
