I just am popping in for the briefest of moments, but I wanted to extend another healthy and vigorous bunch of vibes to the entire "BRAIN" group of players this evening.

And of course, the very best and strongest "non-nervous, confidant, and butch" vibes to the very most lovely and guapo  BK      ;D   ;)   8)

And of course Bruce, I also send you a very manly handshake... and a kiss right on your mouth (with tongue) !!   :o

DR RLP - I do arrive early....but then I am usually asked to move from my chosen seat to accommodate those parties who arrive at curtain time and wish to 'sit together.'

Not quite the 60 minute call time....but they probably get calls starting at 30 minutes.

My guess is MR BK is worrying about something that someone should have taken care of....and didn't!

Good afternoon. I spent the day at the office. My DH and I hung around while one of our deacons met with a total stranger who called last night with a sob story. We didn't want our deacon (a woman) alone with a stranger. While waiting, we cleaned the fountain and the baptistry. Then I was sent to pay the stranger's electric bill in cash. I did not get any other work done (partly because the speaker for this week didn't send me everything -- like where the hymns and photos she wants are supposed to come from).

I do remember some movie about a giant shrew or something. The creature was creepy looking and I vaguely recall having nightmares about it...

When I was a kid I watched some Outer Limits program in black and white that had a huge blob that came out of the water. I was terrified and had nightmares for days. I tried to calm myself down by telling myself that I live in Arizona -- there are no oceans or laked nearby. But then I remembered the canal down the street that I had to cross every day to go to school.

Oh, them.  Isn't it amazing that the ushers simply expect you to give up your seat of choice?

And if not the ushers, then the patrons too unbelievably arrogant as to presume you "should" move to accommodate their desires.

I ran back from rehearsal to get out of everyone's way and to stir up some dinner.  I literally will run out in five minutes and hope there's a taxi free and available.  The rehearsal was shaky with each of us worrying about our own set of difficulties; I've got a feedback problem in the sound system caused by all the amps for the bass and keyboard 2 which worries me. I feel tonight's performance could go well and I hope it does but I'll fret my way through the show.  I'm sure BK will do the same, although I think his work is in good shape and waiting for an audience to laugh.

Pray for Rosemary's baby.  I'm outa here!

DR JRand57, the theremin is now a sound cue.

Until then I am going to sit on the couch and finish my Bollywood movie...and let me tell you it is a strange one. KANTHAN KARUNAI (1967) starring Savaji, Gemini, Nagesh, and Jayalalitha.

This film is from south India where there is a whole other film community....or actually several different film communities. The films in this region are in the Tamil language or in Telugu, usually, and have whole other sets of film celebrities. I have seen a few vintage and modern Telugu films, but this is my first Tamil film (although I have some others on the way...both new and old).

KANTHAN KARUNAI is a mythological...very colorful costumes and sets and musical numbers that would make Busby Berkley proud!

The plot thus far is about a demon clan who are fighting the heavenly peoples and their gods and goddesses. Quite bizarre...but so much fun!

A look at the  back cover of the DVD says it all.

Not too many rewrite duties tonight, so, I don't know, I'm sort of of the mood... maybe I'll toddle down to the theatre district, see if anything interesting's playing

I've heard tell, around these parts, that there's a brainy musical entering the Acorn.   ;)
