These were Debbie Allen's inspiration in creating the Academy Award segment with Rob Lowe and Snow White.

NOT!

I thought the Bond-girl in this movie was kind of a dog (forgive me, Sherlock), but I think the new Bond more than makes up for that.
Like minds.  Of course...

SPOILER

...at the end of the film Bond does refer to her as a bitch.

DR François, are you going to report me to the Mouse House for copyright infringement?

Will DR Cillaliz bail me out of jail?

They tried using this picture as an advertisement for the Washington Apple Growers, but for some reason, no one liked it.

I survived work today.  It was a bit insane there, since the good weather we've had over the last couple of days has brought an influx of summer people into town, and they are all restocking their pantries.

Upon returning home, there was a letter waiting for me from the prothonotary of Sussex County.  Yep, they've sent me a jury duty notice.

Back when we were living in California, I never felt any need to get out of jury duty.  I rather enjoyed the experience.  But this is no longer the case.  They're proposing to yank me out from work, from a part time paycheck that I need, right when it switches to premium summer pay, and keep me from earning my paycheck for two full weeks.

On top of which, Georgetown is a distance away from where we live, which means that der B will have to spend major time and gas money acting as my transportation man.  Either that, or I'll be using public transportation... which doesn't exist in Delaware.

No, I'm going to have to tell them to shove it this time.

Poached chicken breasts.  Broccoli florets.  RiceARoni.

Yep, I'm making something from a box.   ::)

All you have to tell them is that you don't drive and that there is no public transportation.  You will be excused, without having to tell them to shove it.

Back from a delightful dinner at Pioneer Mill of Tiffin with my AAUW friend from Wisconsin.  I had grilled salmon and a twice-baked potato, salad and a glass of white Zinfandel.  Now I'm having dessert (dark chocolate M&M's) here in my hotel room and chatting with my HHW friends from all over the world!
