Well, you've read the notes, the notes were savage, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - MOOsic is currently soothing their savage breasts.

I think I'm coming down with BK's cold.

Which is better than getting down with BK's cold, which would be too '70s for an '00s guy like me.  Getting down with a cold while wearing polyester and bellbottoms... nope, not gonna do it.

ASK BK

Does the soundtrack pf The Americanization of Emily include the song Emily? I know they didn't use it in the film and wondering if it was recorded before it was dropped. (It's still given a credit in the opening titles)

OPEN TO ALL

Does anyone know what was the first film to be rated via the current MPAA rating system. At that time they were given the letters G, M, R, X

M for mature which was later change to GP which was then flipped to PG. X was changed to NC-17 as X became associated with pornography and was the only rating that could be self imposed.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I'm getting ready to meet with the volunteer administrators at lunchtime at the National Museum of the USAF to learn about their volunteer program and to tour the museum.  Gotta pack a sack lunch, just like a school field trip!

Hello all.  Our computer crashed Friday night and it took Vixdad until late last night to get it up and running again.  He says it's stillnot 100% and he may have to tear it down and do it over so if I disappear again that's probably why.

Good morning, all! I got an email from DR vixmom; their computer has crashed. She'll be back soon.

This morning I'm off to Toyland, and then I'll have lunch with a friend I met through the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization. Tonight I'm off to the theatre wth our DR Jose.

Yes, it does.  You may listen to it, and other samples from the FSM Johnny Mandel "Trio" album HERE

Oy!  It's 6:25 a.m. and I'm ready to go to work!

My workday officially starts at 8:30 a.m.   It only takes me 15 minutes to get there.

Weather takes a turn back toward the "norm" for us today as the skies clear and things get a few days, at least, to dry.  I hope the forecasts for weekend rain are true.  We NEED rain desperately this season and we have roughly until May to make up for any shortfalls we've acquired over the past couple of years.

I am really looking foward to tonight's edition of "Lost."  It's the one show that does not, and has never, let me down.

LATIMES

Quote
High school play canceled over possible objections to gay content
Drama teacher at a Newport Beach high school says the principal shut down his production of 'Rent' because of its gay characters. District officials say the principal only asked to read the script.

Now, amid growing backlash and consternation from some students and members of the gay community, the actors at Corona del Mar High are grudgingly preparing for a very different show: "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." The drama teacher said it's a safer choice and one sure to pass muster with his boss.

Now I guess PETA will complain that Charlie Brown stigmatizes dogs.
