TOD:
I love the original movie, AND THEN THERE WERE NONE with Louis Hayward, Walter Huston and Barry Fitzgerald.
But the novel...and its ending...is so much better. It really blew me away when I read it.
The "problem" with the several remakes of ATTWN, better known as TEN LITTLE INDIANS, is the same problem with SLEUTH, AN INSPECTOR CALLS , DEATHTRAP and other well-written plays of that ilk.
They have a brilliant plot twist that, once you know it, sort of ruins future viewings. You can only get "blown away" once.
I also really like MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS.
