I think I shall put the old matress in the spare room (which is filling up) for a couple of weeks until I see how things work out.

Well, I have a lot to do this weekend.  I hope the next time I post I will be more comfortable with my new desk and my machine and new bed will have me so rested I can post for hours and not feel tired.

Take care everyone!  Talk with you soon.

Love the new avatar, BTW!

Thank you about the avatar, but I still think you are being to easy on this person.  And actually I don't how those things go.  We don't have cockroaches around here.  Come to think of it, we don't really have.......... Oh never mind.

Coffee girls?  Little French boys?  You have quite the coterie, I'd say!  ;)

You can have the coffee girl, slingblade, I will take the little French boy!

TCB, I think you meant Hairspray, not the Producers - The Producers launched in Chicago.

You are, of course, correct bk.  I knew it one of those shows starring some campy queen.

LAURA, I'm so glad your AC got fixed quickly and relatively cheaply. Mine went out a couple years ago--in summer, of course--and it was three weeks before I had the new one. But I made do with a window unit in my bedroom, which made all the difference. Hope yours stays fixed!

BK, while you're in NY why don't you give Joe Allen a try? I hear the food's quite good. You might like it.

DR Noel, you have a wonderfully "character-ful" singing voice for performing your material.
Thank you very much, but I can't wait for the true characters Liz Larsen, Brad Oscar, Jeff Talbott, Lynne Wintersteller, Dirk Lumbard, Shannon O'Bryan and Joshua James Campbell to get theirs on it.

Those who've watched Mad Men: it might amuse you to know that DW Joy and I just watched if with candy cigarettes in our mouths.  If you can't beat 'em...

He is okay, but I will take Brent Barrett (WSMA) in the role anytime.

Dog Bosco is very sad to report.........that we found DC Freddy!!!! He is safe and sound!   :D

When Bosco and I took our walk I happened to see Fred peering out of the garage window of a neighbor who has been away on vacation!

Well, I went to the house and told the neighbor's son, Nick, that my cat was in his garage...then the son realized he did not have the key to the garage! ::)

Oy!

Well, after trying all sorts of keys and paper clips and even Nick trying to find some sort of entrance to the garage from the attic, and finally trying his girlfriends bobby pins he managed to push the garage door open just far enough for Freddy to squeeze out.

I was so happy!

Freddy was disoriented and hungry and thirsty from his 5 day ordeal...and rather grumpy....but hopefully he will learn not to go into that garage again (yes, this is the same garage he got locked in a few years back...for 3 days).

Thank you all for your wonderful vibes for Freddy's safe return!!

MBarnum do you have canned cat food?  If not you might want to give Freddy extra liquids for a day.  The juice from canned tuna packed in water is good.

If you can't keep Freddy inside I suggest you ask the neighbors to leave you a key to their garage next time they leave town.

Are you sure you weren't standing outside the garage calling Freddy? ;D

Keith and I are just thrilled he is home. :D

Gee; some people really do have talent!

I wish I could be just "okay!" too and have a voice like that!

I am afraid that Brent might not have the voice for that role!

As for the face... he could even play Christine! :D

Good news about Freddy!

I agree with DR Jane about the water from canned tuna. Hopefully Freddy will get enough water from that.
