Yes, we sure did, DR Edisaurus.  But the seminary with which DH Richard is affiliated (via distance learning for a MA in Ministry) is offering:

C. S. Lewis Visits Nashotah

which I'm trying to follow independently.

Even though the story was sad, we enjoyed the Oxford ambiance.

I LOVE Oxford! So beautiful...I have gone there several times. Gotta get a fix of Lewis Carroll ambience now and again.

A friend of mine does a wonderful one-man C.S. Lewis show. Very poignant---and funny! He has performed this in the UK several times at universities and it went over quite well...despite his slight southern accent!

I'd wondered if something like that would be part of the Nashotah course, but it seems to be more reading/lecture oriented.

The one-man/one-woman show concept is interesting to me.  The Ohio Humanities Council puts on a summer Chautauqua series that utilizes a group of re-enactors around a common theme.  We have attended for the past several years and thoroughly enjoyed the programs.  This year's theme is:

World War II

Also, I've had an idea for about a year and a half for a one-woman show I'd like to develop for myself, but it may have to wait until I retire!

DR JRand56, thanks for the cool links! I did not even know of Baby Sonia's history...I believe she needs to be interviewed...and since I have her husband's home address....

And the Bollywood Copycat website looks like loads of fun! LOL! I started reading it and couldn't stop chuckling! I have put it into my favorites for futher study.

DR JoseP, I have found that a theater in Beaverton (about a 40 minute drive from Salem) shows Bollywood movies on a semi-regular basis. I keep meaning to go up and catch a movie there but everytime one is shown that I want to see it ends up being on a day that I can't make it. But in a couple of weeks they will have a new John Abraham film showing and I will try to go see it.

The darling Diana Darrin's son Evan Richards played one of the kids on that show.

My choice for favorite flop show theme song would be the theme from ANGIE. Love that song.

Oh, and Jose, yes I am very pleased that WATER is up for an Academy award. I hope John Abraham get's to be in the audience, and on stage if it should win. I knew it was filmed in Canada, but didn't realize it was actually a Canadian film (using a lot of Bollywood actors).

India entered the film WARIS SHAH, but it wasn't picked.
