We've been enjoying those, DR Matt H.

I really like them a lot, and supposedly these next two are better than the first two. I have read ICE BLUES (which is the first book in the series), but ON THE OTHER HAND, DEATH will be as new to me as the first two films were. I am really looking forward to them.

I guess I need to head downstairs now and clean up for lunch out with friends. I'll be bundling up today for sure. It's even cold in the house with the heat on!

I need to check out the TV schedules for the upcoming week.  If I can find four clear evenings in a row, I would like to view the RSC NICHOLAS NICKLEBY.  I don't think I've seen it since I bought the set over three years ago.

My sister is going for her amnio this morning (well it could end up being later than that if she has to wait).

I'd like to ask for some vibes for her and the baby.

Speaking of English, and because the Singers Unlimited are doing this song right now, I'm sure the improper (non)use of the subjunctive in "Killing Me Softly" bothers everyone else here as much as it does me.

(It should be "as if I weren't there").

Thursday morning greetings!  It's ver-r-r-ry cold here in SW Ohio today, but the sun's shining - my favorite kind of winter day.

I'm trying to make chicken salad (like what you spead in your sandwich) for the first time.

Only i'm not sure what to put in it other than chicken and mayo.

Celery?  This is going to be quite an experiment since i won't want it to be too processed!

Oh btw, the amnio is over.  It seems like it went okay. My sis said it was much less everything that what she expected. The doctor said that the needle was very far from the baby.

The odd thing (makes no sense to me) is that they (my sister and brother-in-law) are required to bring the baggie across town to another hospital???  I've never heard of such things. That means every single patient in that waiting room will have to do the same thing. The worst part is they never mentioned this (and it is freezing, like -36C).

Also my mom and i will have to go over and watch my niece. I was over there yesterday and asked if i should go over. Apparently my brother-in-law did not realize my sis would be on bed rest (i did that is why i asked!).
