Back from Poughkeepsie, where they pick their feet and throw Hello, Dolly! readings. It was fun playing it straight through, and though the show isn’t till February, I shall look forward to seeing and hearing what this director and cast do with it.

I wish I could find palm oil. I like it in Brazilian food. And even the South American market seems to be out of it every time I go there.

Well, the sing-through (using our music) helped. We got through all the group numbers and worked on a few things. Now, we all just need to memorize!

At nine we were notified that the school had called last night leaving a message that they were canceling out on the matinee. Probably because of the heavy ice, but we weren’t told the reason.
