I would like to ask Jose for a recipe for an egg sauce to go with tofu.

Is this a Dish For Your Disposal?

I really want some mac'n'cheese! Maybe tomorrow night.

That's what I had for dinner tonight, with a side of steamed asparagus.

For example, I no longer worry whether dear reader Jose will return.  Despite what was said to elmore three weeks ago, I believe he will not be back, and there is nothing I can do about it, so I let it go.

He told me again last week that he would be returning, but I'm starting to doubt him.

Exactly.  I think he's telling you what you want to hear.  It doesn't matter to me one way or the other anymore.  And it's an entirely different situation than that of Ann and Jed - who were never here every day for years.

Just off the phone with the Music Center and we're all set for the recording of the Leap of Faith commercial on Friday evening.

Yes, Sandra had that at the Chinese Restaurant in Wichita on Bastille Day and said it was very good.

It's a truism, but:  Being angry/bitter at someone else is like taking poison yourself and expecting the *other* person to die.

I like this.

This is a bad example.  Letting go would be not having negative feelings he won't return in spite of being told he will.  DR elmore isn't the only one who said he will return.  I have said it all along.

Re other people: I've always figured that it would please the chinchy bassas to know they have me all upset. I decided not to give them that power over me.

Smart & hard to do.

I had to look up egg sauce.  This doesn't sound good to me.

Does anyone remember the 1960's TV series My World And Welcome To It? It lasted one season and won 2 Emmys. Best Comedy Series and Best Actor for William Windom. Also in the cast Joan Hotchkis, Lisa Gerritsen (Mary Tyler Moore, Phyllis, Airport) and great character actor Harold J. Stone and Henry Morgan (Not to be confused with Harry Morgan of Dragnet and M*A*S*H fame)

Miss Callie has been returned to the Humane Society.

Any story you imagine is probably the reason.

If it WON best comedy series and actor, why did it last only one season? :-\

It had already been cancelled by the time the Emmy's were given out.  And it is certainly not the only show or actor to be recognized for a cancelled series.
