Forgot to mention that I saw a wonderful theater/dance piece called BETROTHED last night down in Soho.  Last night's perfromances were the final performances of this engagement, but I would hope they bring it back.  (Some friends are on the board of that theater, called Ripe Time, so I'll have to ask them whether there's any hope of a return engagemnt, since I wish Skip had seen it.)

Good morning!

Same old, same old. Cool morning, hot afternoon coming. I have my usual Sunday chores to do, so I doubt I'll feel much of that hot afternoon air today.

Never been to the Indy 500 nor have I ever watched it on TV.

I have seen WINNING, and I have the DVD on the to-watch shelf, and I just never seem to pick it for viewing. It won't be selected today either.

I didn't see THE GOOD GERMAN at the theater (I don't think it played here more than a week and in one or two theaters max. It has to have been one of the year's biggest failures though myabe it was done on the cheap and they didn't totally lose their shirts.)

I have to admit I am curious about it and want to see it. However, rather than renting or buying the movie on DVD, I'll wait for it to turn up on HBO or some other pay service. That's why I subscribe to them after all.

bk,

HBO is replaying the entire run of this last season of THE SOPRANOS this week, so I'll be able to get the first episode recorded for you.

They're not running THE SOPRANOS tonight, so in two more weeks, I'll have the entire 9 episode run on DVDs and get them out to you.

With no SOPRANOS on tonight and everything else I watch on network TV in reruns, I'll be able to watch THE TUDORS "live" for a change.

Otherwise, I'll be DVDing it entirely today.

I have more ANGEL episodes to watch. I want to watch the MGM version of MADAME BOVARY with Jennifer Jones today.

And I'm in the mood for a musical, too. At this point, I think it's going to be SILK STOCKINGS

I have been walked and coffeed. This afternoon we are seeing a musical about the Mamas and the Papas, so I hope everyone clears out of the church willingly after the service or else I will will have to become forceful.

For the pretty pictures.

Oh, but primarily for the The Magazine.   It's a good chunk of reading material in a compact form.  Very handy for delayed subway rides.

Good morning all! It is a bit drizzly here so don't know if I will continue on my yardwork of just flop on the couch and watch movies.

I am loving 36 CHINATOWN...as JRand56 said it has some great songs and fun dance numbers...and Mr. Upen Patel in his debut role.....

...and Mr. Akshaye Khanna playing the lead detective investigating a murder.

Oops!  That's what I meant.  This new math still bewilders me.  ;)

Oh whew!  I am watching WINNING with Comcast ON DEMAND.  DR MATTH, save your time.

It is not as exciting as I remember it was.  I thought it was a racing movie with some scenes about the Newman/Woodward marriage - seems it's the other way around....  Lots of angst....plus Richard Thomas.

So, DR JRand, is it still raining in Indianapolis?  I'm waiting for the race festivities broadcast to come on at noon.

Pain free Memorial Day vibes for DR ELMORE - whose suffering on that day seems to be linked to a battle wound suffered in a previous life.

I believe Elmore's shade was griviously wounded at Dunsinane Castle fighting with Macduff  and Malcolm against Macbeth.

Well, I just remembered that a friend of mine from Boston is due in town at any moment, and we had tentatively planned to meet for lunch depending how soon he got it - he's driving down.  So...  I best better get ready to head out.  -Otherwise, see you at at the Helen Hayes, DR FJL.
