DR RLP - I think DR MBARNUM was talking about that Columbia set yesterday....or maybe it was just in a email he sent to me.

ZOMBIES OF MORA TAU + CREATURE WITH THE ATOM BRAIN + THE GIANT CLAW....whew!  Any other movie they would add to the set would just be a bonus!

Well, Simon Pegg is much cuter than that photo, and if you see him in Hot Fuzz, he's pretty dang hunky and kicks a$$. He's almost as hunky as MBarnum, but his petunias aren't as pretty!

When did you get to see MBarnum's petunias??? ::) ::) ::) ::)

It's time for me to leave work...and watch Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds in Concert" when I get home.  Until later!

I said the same, but was just asking if anyone sees a resembleance since I haven't met the man, the legend, The Barnum, in person.

I got the newest update to the PS3 installed easy as pie according to the directions. Since I don't have it connected to the internet, I had to update using a USB flashdrive, and I do NOT understand why they didn't offer the very simple instructions on the site along with the link to the update. I had to write Sony customer service to get directions how to get the download to be recognized by the PS3.

Anyway, it went just like clockwork.

This weekend I mowed the lawn, planted several thousand million impatiens, divided up some hostas (them's heavy!)  and moved them around the yard, stripped all the wallpaper off the downstairs bedroom, visited friends in their new home , took the Vixter and her friend to the local traveling carnival  and saw the greatly anticipated (by the Vixter & myself if no one else) 3rd installment of Pirates of the Caribbean

After installing the upgrade, I watched the Christopher Reeve SUPERMAN on Blu-ray disc.

The movie has never looked particularly great on home video, not even in the latest DVD upgrade. This Blu-ray version was by far the best it's ever looked on home media.

The Krypton and Smallville sequences have always been soft and filtered looking, and even on Blu-ray, they still are. But once Clark gets to Metropolis, it's a sharp and bright as can be. I was very, very impressed with the picture resolution for the last hour and fifty minutes of the movie.

"The Barnum"  I like it!  Beloved by all, and easy on the eye too!

I watched last night's BOSTON LEGAL. Some really funny scenes this week, and I liked the cases, too. A nice season ender.

I had a yearning for a musical, so I finished my evening with BRIGADOON. Always is enjoyable to me, and this time around, I particularly liked the wedding dance sequence and "The Chase." The orchestra and chorus work on that latter number is especially thrilling and in surround sound, it's just magic.

I've got ANGEL cued back up to watch another episode tomorrow as well as another CLOSER episode from the set, starting with the second disc tomorrow.

As for tomorrow's film, I'm thinking I'll break open the latest Katharine Hepburn DVD set and watch her first Oscar winning performance in MORNING GLORY. I had that movie on VHS, but I haven't watched it in quite a few years.

BOSTON LEGAL POSSIBLE SPOILER

I know it's not real... and I know they do absoluelty outrageous stuff onthis show, but the "strategy" Alan & Denny used would have gotten them disbarred or even jailed... it  was so blatant that it spoiled it for me

I  was unhappy with Pirates, too bad Edi wasn't available to give it a trim... I also was unhappy with the choices made as to where to go with some of the characters....
