Thanks. Then I just mixed up who went with Joe. William F. Orr is a nice guy & I do miss his posts. I really only mixed up which one belonged with Joe. I remember meeting Orr in NY.

I was talking on the phone with my mother and scrolling through the posts (shh, don't tell her...). It's always a shock when we learn of the death of a DR. Being a reference librarian, I searched the Social Security Death Index and found that a William Lurie of Queens, NY, who was born in 1942 died on July 2, 2010.

I was looking over Mr Lurie's posts back to 2004, and I was surprised to fnd them much less negative than I remembered, and I was wrong. I could find nothing about a sickly partner, though.

I guess a lot of my dislike for him stems from his cast recording list posts.

I loved that video. "Purlie" seemed like it played forever in the early days of cable. Is the whole show available on DVD?

I think I prefer Ms. Moore's version before she found out she was a star.

That's him. I remember he lived in Queens.

Where does one find the Social Security Death Index? It sounds like a great place to play.

I remember the name Joe well. It is the two Williams with middle initials I found confusing. I remembered Orr in Long Island was who I met as he is friend's with Vixmom.
