William F. Orr , amongst his many talents, is a mathematician.  He is a University Math professor

He does have a DP Joe  and he is a dear friend and I have spoken t him  in about a month!  I must rectify that situation tomorrow (as it is too late to call as he is an early to bed early to rise kind a guy)

I just realized somehow I jumped back to page three.  Interesting I don't remember reading the posts there.  I'll have to see what else I'm missing.  Obviously DR elmore is fine & enjoying the double dosage of Vicodin. :)

I was about to send you a snarky response! ;)

;D  I'm glad you read this post before doing so.

DR elmore I only meant I hoped he was alive to respond to your comment he could come yell at you.  I wasn't making a comment at all as to your personal dislike of him.  I did include a smiley face.

That's okay. I've gone through various "moods" about, and occasional battles with, various DRs, but I generally like everyone who posts here except for William Lurie. I was happy when he stopped posting. I never wished him dead, though, just somewhere else. And now he is.

Strange coincidence that we find out that he died, at the same time we found out about Osama bin Laden!  Hmmmmmmmm.

ROTFLMAO!

Help!

Does any DR have a CD of the show WORKING so that they can make me a copy?  I had the cassette - but it is missing, and I would like to have a copy for a friend who is doing the show in November.

I have plenty of copies of Working since I issued it on CD back in the day - send me an e-mail.

I love the original recording, but there's also an updated version from 2001 from L.A. Theatre Works:

DR TCB - I copied my Kraft Theatre "A NIGHT TO REMEMBER" - I tried a few times and there is a glitch at the end of the first section.....it may not play in your DVD player....or you may have to skip over a few minutes to see the rest....BUT I will send you a copy if you don't mind the aggravation.

That would be terrific, Jack.  i would be very pleased to get it in any shape.

If the saying were true that the good die young, you should have died some time around the crusades.

Was William E. Lurie the mathematician?  Wasn't his partner here, too, for a while?  Who was that?

Orr is the mathematician.  Lurie did register here in '03 when we came to this new format.

There's probably a bar in San Antonio with his face imprinted upon it by now.

When the movie first came out in the 70s, I thought the name of the film was THE TAKING OF PHLEGM 123.  I thought it was one of the strangest titles ever.

Now I understand WHY you made this comment out of nowhere. ;D

Sometimes that's the only explanation for his comments! :)

Can't we get rid of BETTER WITH YOU?  or at least get the show better writers?

What is BETTER WITH YOU? I only watch reruns of BONES and LAW &  ORDER and the Housewives of You Name It.
