Dear DAW, "consider me hung"    I have a dirty mind.

I looked through the Farmers Market Cookbook,  it's quite beautiful.  And with some of the new vendors too.   I almost bought it that day, and will next time for memories sake.

Did your broken bones ever heal all the way?

Yes, I think everything has healed fine.  The last months of regular walks with Sugar have really helped a lot, too.  I'm thinking good thoughts and making sure I stay moving while I can move.

Thanks, Jane!

Dear JMK,  a teenager in your mist, oh what fun ahead.   I think Ginny is right that girls are worse.

I always told my husband that if we had a boy who was like his father, I would move out.  I knew my husband in his early 20's and he was wild beyond control.  Many stories to be told.

I went to Target to buy new rabbit ears for my TV.  I hope they work.

So I also picked up "Thriller".  I've been happy since the first few notes.  It is a great album.  Oops cd now (it was an album the first time I heard it).

Hi Sam, it's 76 degrees here right now.  Our highs this week are in the 80s.  I'm loving this summer

This is mine

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Perhaps if you use the Royal Impersonal tense, as in:

Hi!

Just wanted to pop in for a second to explain where I've been today. I've been dealing with some health issues, and I'm still not "fixed," so who know what tomorrow may bring.

I don't say this to receive vibes or crave sympathy but merely to explain where I've been today and why I might not be around much tomorrow.

It has been a very long day.

That is not the Borders I used to shop at. :(

Nor I.  The first Border's I remember was a cozy second-hand shop on State St. in Ann Arbor, MI.

I had quite the Kritzerland bill to pay today - the humungous redesign and restructuring of the website bill - which was double what I thought it was going to be.  A necessity for sure, but boy does it make things rough for a while.   I have to have a couple of complete immediate sellout titles to make up for it.  Unfortunately, The Apartment, surprisingly, hasn't quite sold out yet.

We visited ICU during the last evening visiting period.  Only John's wife and youngest daughter and her boyfriend were there and only Richard went in to see John.  They're having visitors put on gowns and gloves while they rule out his having something infectious, so I stayed in the waiting room with the family.  No change in John's condition, except that his blood pressure has stabilized - which was the desired effect of putting him back on the vent.
