I'm ready for some food, not that the talk of moose, bear, slugs, and other exotic beasties has done the trick.

I'm gonna have spaghetti with meat sauce. No vegetarian, I...not at all.

But I really hate to eat something that gave its life to feed me...only to find out it disgusts me.

I've gotten a spate of e-mails telling me various things are in the mail to me....mostly DVDs, but also some CDs...including my copy of "Goodbye, Mr. Chips."

I saw some program or other airing on "E!" this afternoon in which a number of people were singing the praises of "Blondie" -- Iggy Pop declared that "Blondie" was the last great original group we've had...that everything since then has copied, pretty much, what's been done before.

I don't much know from "Blondie"....but I'm partial to "The Fifth Dimension," "Gladys Knight and the Pips", "The Doors" and "The Carpenters."

Among others.

And not as a mixed listening experience!
