And the answer to the BRIGADOON ticket question is, the entire run is sold out.

Darn.  That's good for them, but too bad for you. :-\

Annabelle was happy to see my return and fascinated by the bagel.  She was even happier to discover that she likes cream cheese!

Poe LOVES cream cheese.  Always has.  For him, a small spoonful of cream cheese is as wonderful a treat as a small spoonful of vanilla ice cream.

I wonder if Neve would like that.  I have one-ounce packets of cream cheese that I've had for a while.  Since they're sealed, I would only need to open one at a time.

On a positive note.  Carrie from The Animal Project came by to check out my apartment before they turn Thatch over to me.  I liked her very much, Annabelle did as well, and I passed with flying colors.

That's great!

On a curious note, someone sent me an electrically heated cat bed from Amazon.  I suspect someone on HHW but I have no idea who since there was no invoice with a gift message.  So, whoever you may be, thank you.

It wasn't me.

We too have received a good number of gifts from Amazon and had to guess who it came from.  I now know why it happens as I just sent a gift, not realizing I was sending it.  I had to go back in and change it from our address to the correct address.  I never saw the box to click it is a gift.

I let our friends know to expect it (baby gift for their upcoming grandchild).  Once it arrived they said there was not a name in it at all.

That's so nice!

(It wasn't from me, either.)

I managed to get in eight hours of work today despite the pills. I'm still going to work from home tomorrow.

You are!  Some people (a Gypsy reference) at my work are allowed to work from home.  I'm not one of them.  The programs that I require to use can't be installed on non-staff terminals.  Eventually (supposedly), our internal library computer system is going to be web-based, and then I could, but not yet. :P

Annabelle has become quite good at communicating.  I now know when she wants to play fishie on a pole, and I will have to order another.  The poor fishie is starting to fall apart.  When she catches it, she holds it in her front paws and teeth while her back legs do their utmost to kill the poor thing.  It is her favorite game.

Sorry to hear that Brigadoon is sold out, DR elmore.   I got tickets a couple of weeks ago for Sunday night. All that was available at that time were balcony seats.

Well, I don't care much myself.  I trally was hoping several would be coming in to see it and we could all have dinner.

I took my first of a 3 day trial on the malaria meds I will have to take.  I hope it was simply that I didn't feel good this morning and not the pill that effected me.  Feeling nauseated before traveling when one is prone to motion sickness is not a good thing.

Tonight I will take half a Benadryl to clear up my allergies.  Maybe then I will be ok tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.

I think they're lucky that I did work from home.

I just realized that I have not taken a sick day since I've been an employee, and I don't even know if I know how to mark one. On Dec. 3, I will have been at USAA as a full-time employee for five years.

I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief that the gentlemen who showed up to move it did not have the names Laurel and Hardy on their ID badges.
