Will you wear your black leather chaps?
Will we never get to page nine?
I'm still wanting to bitch-slap someone, but it's a co-worker who has been darting around the office like a flibbertigibbet on speed. I'm about ready to stick my foot out and trip her next time she darts past my desk.
Good afternoon, fellow Dear Readers. It is still foggy here. I dropped the fellas off to kayak; the ladies are shopping somewhere.
DR Laura---My DH used tons of batteries in his work and he recommends Thomas Distributing:http://www.thomas-distributing.com/index.htmDoes your camera take AA batteries? They have some called AccuPower 2900mAh's (2900 refers to the number of milli amp hours) and PowerEx's, which have 2700 mAhs. They are both NiMH batteries so they don't have a memory effect like the old NiCAD's did. A really good charger for them is also made by PowerEx, the MH-C204F. It treats your batteries well and keeps them alive longer. You pay more up front but it's well worth it in the long run. It's important to charge them pretty quickly after they run down, and if you don't use them, charge them once a month to keep them in good shape. PM me if you have any more questions for him!
Thank you, DR Jane. For everything. I'm not sure if I will go to work or not. I'm thinking not. By the time the evening rolls around I am just so tired.
I saw the most incredible blue jay outside my apartment this afternoon. Well, I assume it was a blue jay. It was a bird and it was blue. Very pretty!
You're not the only one.Well, der B and I didn't make a special trip - we were in town and made a point of heading over. It was while visiting the Art Institute of Chicago that I was introduced to the works of Gustave Caillebotte, whose Paris Street, Rainy Day is part of their permanent collection, and who was being represented by a show of his work that had been brought in from arround the world. His painting Les raboteurs de parquet (The Floor-Scrapers) in particular made an interesting impression on me.(Whistles quietly while everyone else figures out why.)
Well, it sure as Hell wasn't the blue bird of happiness![/i]
I'm with you on this one. I love Paris Street, Rainy Day...I couldn't walk away from it when I saw it in Chicago.
Ditto, Danise. If you can take the week off, do it. Can it be counted as family leave time?
Well I am the proud lessee of a new office!!! YEAH!!
