Now I know how Noah felt!
Rounded up all of the live stock and poured them into the car for the trip to the Rabies clinic.
The dogs had been out for a ride for sometime, so they were all over the place - I'm so glad we had the carrier for JJ!
The cat-lady inspected JJ and said he was an un-neutered male about 6-8 month old.
They all got their Rabies shot ($3) - JJ also got a distemper shot (another $10). The dogs all got three year liscenses $10 - not bad since the local animal hospital charges $51 just to walk through the door.
JJ rode quietly in the carrier, and when I took him out at the clinic, he just settled down in my arms and ignored all the other animals dashing about.
The local cat association rep gave me the phone number of a local who works with Petsmart to place cats; since JJ had his shots, if the guy inspects him and finds him adoptable, he will have him neutered and take him to various Pet stores to help find adoptive parents (he picks the cats up at the local pet store, across the highway from where Woody works and returns them when he's done for the day).
