Sorry, DR Jane.
Starting to watch Billy Liar, which I've never seen before. What's interesting is that his mother seems to be the same mother who was in All Creatures Great and Small. Some things never change ...

Even the actress seems to be the same, though they were made 50 years apart.
In episode one of All Creatures, Herriot’s mother is shown.

I spent my morning on Zoom with 20 or so other AAUW members discussing Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. It had been almost 3 years since I read the book, so I didn't have much to contribute. It was fun to listen in, though. What did you think of that book? Have you watched the miniseries?I don't remember much about the book except that I thought it was just ok.

We had our first major snowstorm yesterday (8+ inches/ 20+ cms). It's sort of crazy. But we've only had a few 5 cms or less this year. I am happy about that. But not happy about the mess this snowstorm made of my street. Hard to go for a walk.
