Tonight's the NIGHT:

Big Brother 11 and one certain player's meltdown/expulsion from the house!

Histrionics guaranteed.

Oh, thanks for the heads up. I haven't watched too much, but BB meltdowns are always fun

Well, jury duty was ok.  I did make it to the panel after one person was excused.  They asked me quite a few questions and it was pretty clear to me that the defense lawyer (insurance co. for the school that was being sued for not protecting Native American siblings from being assaulted) did not want me on the jury. So I was struck in the final cut

It's ok, actually, because I'm really busy at the office.  It was only supposed to be a 2 day trial, but Edith is on vacation all next week, so we're trying to get a lot done before she goes.

LOL!  I thought you wrote, "after one person was executed."

Thanks all for the birthday wishes for Jon and David.   They are going to spend tonight going out together.  I guess it's been years since they've spent their birthday together, so they were both pretty excited about that.  They are 26 today

We are home after Richard attended the meeting at the church to finalize Thursday's service for John.  Tomorrow and the next day promise to be grueling, but I'm pretty much staying in the background.  It's actually kind of odd for there to be a big family event for which I don't have major responsibility.

We had a high of 81 today.   Going to get up to 79 tomorrow.  Sorry you guys are suffering, but this is great

We could really use that kind of weather for the next several days - send it our way, please!

Time to go mow the back yard.  It's not nearly as big as the front yard, so it shouldn't take long

Thanks, DRs Cillaliz, Jane, and Laura.  Richard and I have decided that Friday or Saturday we're going on a dinner/movie date.

Ha, ha, Jane, we're only talking dinner and a movie!  It will just be nice to eat in a restaurant that's not in a hospital and watch someone else's drama (Juie and Julia's, probably) for a change.

Well I would need a drink at dinner & then fall asleep during the movie ;)
Sounds like a good choice in movies, from what I hear about it.

I just finished doing everything I had to do - well, not quite, but I'll do the rest in the morning - it's just addressing some UPS waybills for big orders - six of them.  Otherwise, all packages have postage attached and now it's just inserting the CDs and getting them to the post office.  I decided we're going live with Gaily/Minsky's at midnight tonight - I want to try and get as many orders in and printed as possible before leaving for NY, so I thought the extra day would be helpful.

Watching Lost, Season Five now - I do hope this entire season isn't going off on all these weird and hard to follow tangents, because it's beginning to be irritating.  And I must say, my least favorite actor on the show is the guy who plays Daniel Faraday - one of these hopeless whispering, mumbling twit actors I can't stomach.  Everyone else talks nice and loud on this show except for this guy and I just want to hurl my shoe at him and say, "Speak up, idiot - the people standing next to you, if they didn't know your lines, would never be able to hear a word you're saying."

I've prepared our eBlast for later, and sent out my dealer advance notices - so at midnight, I'll send the eBlast, put it up at Film Score Monthly's message board, and put it on Facebook and Twitter - and hopefully, come morning, I'll have lots and lots of orders.

And now, I'm off.  Off to my sister's.  She bought me a cookie in Portland.

Yippie.

;)

I'm sure it'll be very good.

Until later!

God in heaven! Thunder, lightning and a real storm with pouring rain. It's really noisy outside! I thought the rain was tomorrow.
