Bruce, if you have frequent acid reflux, I can recommend an otc medicine called omeprozole. One pill before bed and no heartburn. You can get it at most drugstores or target. I've been using it for years with no problems.

I take one every morning as soon as I wake up. My dr recommended it about 18 months ago and it has completely ended my acid reflux issue

Well I got good news last night, my dr has the results of the CT scan, and the mass he was feeling appears to be nothing but scar tissue. So that is a relief!!

On the other hand, the car (with less than90,000 mikes) that Vixdad drove to Hyundai almost a month ago has apparently been rendered into a useless hunk of metal.

They couldn't cast the amphibians show! That was to have been a December run. They're thinking about a Plan B, so .... we'll see.

I did come to really like the score, and had been looking forward to its fun and its challenges. But I can't say the book is all that. Then again, I never read the children's books. I think that as I watched excerpts on YouTube, I was expecting something with a bit of an edge. Not necessarily a Sesame Street-->Avenue Q kind of edge, but...something. Not so in this one. Which is fine, It really is a family piece.

Well I got good news last night, my dr has the results of the CT scan, and the mass he was feeling appears to be nothing but scar tissue. So that is a relief!!

And today....I noticed my second Monarch chrysalis was BLACK which means it's about to emerge.
I kept my eye on it....and then - A BUTTERFLY. I took several photos and a couple of videos....
About an hour later, I gave him a dab of strawberry jam. I named him Neil Simon.
I checked on him a few minutes later and he was walking around. Suddenly he took flight....came around landed on my face and then my ear to say thanks and goodbye and then headed north...

Thank you. My body is sore from coughing and my taste buds are totally off between the anesthetic and the cold. Even chocolate doesn't taste good. I am trying not to lose more weight but it is difficult to eat when most foods taste bad..

Was that production for adults to go and see? A children's theater company has done it twice here, and very successfully. It really is a delightful show, but definitely geared towards a younger audience.

The two new perks went in five minutes flat - and happily to two dear readers. Facebook never had a chance. I'm putting up one more batch - this one includes signed programs and non-signed. But the tour of Oliver with several signatures, The D'oyly Carte Opera Company signed by every single member, with some pretty well known folks from that world, the tour of Any Wednesday signed by Larry Parks and whoever the leading lady was - Monica Moran I think. The unsigned ones are the Paul Lipson tour of Fiddler on the Roof, The Owl and the Pussycat with Pat Suzuki, and the first national of Funny Girl, with Marilyn Michaels, Anthony George and Lillian Roth. These will be slightly cheaper.
