Strawberries and salsa... gotta say, it sounds to me like it would be rather tasty.  But I'm also a fan of peanut butter and onion sandwiches, so...

Thank you Jed.

Good Morning from OZ.
Tomorrow is not just another day. Already I"m quite nervous.

Thnak you all and sundried for the thoughts. OzDerek should get around to posting on Wednesday or Thursday. (I guess that means Tuesday or Wednesday!)

Now! Which Teddy Bear do I take. I'd prefer a Fireman.

-That was especially for you DR TCB... and DR elmore... and DR td...  etc., etc., etc...
;D

And DR Michael Shayne - Just in case... I don't think we need to see any box covers posted from the companies listed above.  ;)

I never heard of those studios mentioned above, but I can guess what kind of "studios" they are. I am wondering now if I should rise to the challenge of finding box covers to post.

DRTomovoz, all my best wishes for good health go with you tomorrow.   Let us know how you are ASAP.

I like the studio question.
DISNEY:  when I was a kid, I wanted to be a Disney animator; any Disney film that came to the Paramoount Theatre had my cousins, my brother and me in the audience.
TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX:  Rodgers & Hammerstein and Marilyn Monroe.
WARNER BROTHERS:  for CAMELOT and MY FAIR LADY, if not for PAJAMA GAME and others.

It is so hot today, that I finally had to turn on the air conditioning.  The air conditioning in this house is very potent, and I shall only be leaving it on for about ten or fifteen minutes.

Dear Friend BK, you never did tell me when you are arriving and when you'd like the Joe Allen reservation!  Thanks for the vibes.

Two Stars (out of Five)

It's sequel "The Biggest Little Warehouse in West Hollywood" was much better.  Three and 1/2 Stars.

In other news...

I ended up heading out to get some Chinese Food for dinner: Fried Wontons, Hot & Sour Soup, Hunan Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice.  Enough food for a meal or two or three.  *Although, I'm guessing when my brother stops by later to look at my Mom's computer, he'll end up eating the rest of it - which is fine.  -All in all, a very good meal.

Oh, and it was cooked "a la minute".  Well, maybe a la two minutes!  By the time I had finished selecting my CONDIMENTS, duck sauce and hot chile oil, my order was already sitting on the counter ready for me to take it away.  I almost thought the cooks had read my mind as I was walking in the door.  However, when I opened the containers, everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection.  -I guess it pays to go when things are slow.

elmore, I am senile - I thought I told you already.  I arrive on Saturday next, and we should do Joe Allen that night, I think.  Who would be able to be there?  I could also do it Sunday night if that's better.

This coming Saturday, May 21?  I may be hobbling about, but I'll be there!  Perhaps DRS Rodzinski and Ben?

Hello!

Today, DH Richard and I went grocery shopping fairly early and I put a lemon-stuffed chicken in the oven to roast while I went to Dayton to a co-worker's open house.  She has just remodeled her bathroom and kitchen and wanted to show them off.  When I got home, DH and I had a lovely dinner - cooked by me, which is pretty unusual these days.

I hope I'm not too late to send successful surgery vibes to DR Tomovoz!

TOD - My mother's homemade bread and butter pickles are the very best garnish for hamburgers and cold meat loaf sandwiches.

I am hungry again now.

DR CP - no photo or blurb in the Weekly Indy STAR television magazine re: HERCULES....too much country music and Raymond news, I guess.  I will watch the daily paper, though.
