FInished the afternoon with the last episode of THE WILD WILD WEST on disc 6. (One more disc to go).

This one guest starred Don Rickles as a wily magician and Rhys Williams (a favorite) as the duplicitous mastermind behind the killings. Ann Elder played this episode's femme fatale.

Happy Birthday, DR Hisaka!

Yesterday, I bought myself a Wonder Woman piggy bank. I have no idea why. I saw it and felt I HAD to have it.

Just wanted to pop on and say I, haven't been on in a few days. Things down here in hickland are getting busy with high school football starting this friday, we air a stupid 15 minute show dedicated to it and I have to get all ready for that. I'm envious of all you who have the day off monday, we don't get holidays off (but we do get doublepay so I shouldn't complain) but I have to work 6 day workweeks from now through october, except for my trip to NYC! Anyway, back to the grindstone, hope everybody is doing good and happy birthday to anyone I missed.

Brad Ross knows I have a site.  He's more senile than I am.

Have him join.

Back from morning meeting, which was very good, several errands (which were good), and now waiting for music fellow to come and finish going over the two new lead sheets for the two new songs, so we can get them to elmore.  He wasn't quite finished when he was here yesterday.

We've had a soaking rain for the last 45 minutes. At least the thunder and lightning hasn't been severe. And I guess we need the rain. Glad I mowed the grass on Monday.

Off to clean the den, read some more about Paul Lynde's sad life, and then on to TV.

In honor of Paul, I'm thinking of watching NEW FACES on VHS this evening, at least until BONES comes on.

Next was the marvelous concert version of CANDIDE with Paul Groves and Kristen Chenoweth. Superb.

And how great to see John Herrera again whom I've had a giant crush on ever since seeing him in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD and later on TV in ROMANCE/ROMANCE.

Matt...I don't suppose you (or anybody else) recorded "Romance/Romance," did you?  I remember watching and taping this on A&E (when it was still "Arts & Entertainment TV"), but I have not been able to find my tape of it.  Since I started boxing up all my videos, I've been trying to find certain ones, and that's one of the ones that I can't find. :'(

Ask BK Day (and everyone else):

Having read your opinion on BODY DOUBLE, I wonder what you would consider to be DePalma's best film?

I would have to say (believe it or not) BLOW OUT is his best film.

I was just on a train. We've got planes, trains and automobiles covered. Any boaters out there?

I rode a ferry the other day!

It seems that every day when I sign on to HHW, there is another new member that has registered on our site.  However, other than jhvw, none of them ever seem to post.

I received an absolutely wonderful CD in the mail today from a very dear friend.  I love it!

Did I ever mention that Miss Merrilee Rush (and her Turnabouts) used to play at almost all of the high school dances at the Catholic high school here in Tacoma.  I used to go out and smoke (cigarettes) with them.

The radio is at this moment playing Bobby Vee's "Walking With My Angel".

Strange world.

Have finessed the lead sheets and elmore will have them shortly.  I must say, I'm totally happy with both songs.

Elmore needs lead sheets!  Is there kryptonite in the air?
