OMG - this will mean nothing to our Younger HHW'ers....but when it was posted that Norm Lewis would be playing Billy Flynn...for the next 1/2 day I was thinking Norm Crosby!  :-[
That just isn't funny.  Sorry, but it isn't.

How about...The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.
Be careful what you wish for, we may get a remake with Brad Garrett and Katey Sagal in the leads.

Thanks for the good vibes, DR George.

I'm off to San Francisco early in the morning. Won't be posting until late Sunday (unless I post again tonight). So tired and still have a million things to do. My daughter is at a Dave Matthews Concert tonight in Oakland. She just called me and held her cell phone out so I could hear. Isn't that sweet? I did the right thing giving birth to her 20 years ago.

Can we say "Star Trek: Enterprise?"  I like the show on its own, but it is so far removed from the history that was set down in all the other series.
I've been wondering if that might be the ultimate "point" of the series: that Archer, in his dealing with time travel, ends up obliterating the history he has been living and changes it to the Kirk timeline.

I'm getting the impression that BK hates marzipan.

BK, I was, in fact, reading a novel yesterday. I happen to love this novel! :D

Sawah, I'm sorry this pink princess (I'm going for alliteration here, everyone!--just being silly! :) ) couldn't make it tonight. She was frustrated with the voice teacher, as you know.

Panni, I am truly sorry to hear about the greencard situation. I hope it gets fixed soon.  :-\ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Uncle Woody, you made me smile! Glad to hear der Brucer sounded happier!

Random: Maya and I were talking about Ruthless! tonight, and I googled the name of the actress who played Tina in the LA production. Lindsay Ridgeway was the little sister on Boy Meets World!!! (It was one of my favorite shows as a kid.) She's also 4 days younger than me--that's it! WHOAAAAA wait a sec, I just noticed...BK produced this cd!! Awesome job! Do you know how much I love this recording?? :D

Dinner time in OZ Laura II. I shall have to leave you to hold the fort. Maybe the late night Washingtonians will still arrive.

LauraII: Ruthless was a total delight to record - we had more fun with Lindsay than I can tell you, and I ended up using her on quite a few other albums.

I shall post until the cows come home - and speaking of cows, I just watched Cowboy U on my Tivo machine - that machine is unbelievably amazing - perfect quality, easy to use.  I'm sure I will love having it.  I thought it was pretty good (the show) - I didn't like a couple of the sound mixing choices, and we did have to soften the show a bit which I think took some of the teeth out of it.  Still, it was enjoyable.  Who can figure out which bits I was able to work a little "me" into?

In fact, if I were ever to repeat the pain and agony I was going through a mere 20 years ago tonight, I would name the new child "Marzipan."

Correction: Yesterday I posted that Roger Rees played George in the reading of WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA W with Uta Hagen..  It was actually Jonathan Pryce. Mia Farrow was Honey, but I still can't recall who Nick was.

According to yesterday's New York Times, it was Matthew Broderick.

Dear Reader Panni--

Please don't let the tsuris with the INS/Department of Homeland Security/Big Brother ruin your weekend.  Please have safe travels and a grand time with your Dear Daugher in Baghdad by the Bay.
