Another spectacular sunset. Watching the birds and feeling mellow.

The better news is, at least so far no signs of it on anyone else.

I always thought the three sisters Olga, Natasha, Irina and Masha sounded like Santa claus' reindeer!

By My Count That's Four Sisters

Natasha does not belong to that Group

Nathasha, if I remember correctly, is the sister-in-law. She's mean.

I never cared for the THREE SISTERS or UNCLE VANYA much; give me THE SEAGULL.

Happy 10th Anniversary, BK!

I really enjoyed reading some of the old posts.  Now I know a little bit more about some of the HHWers than I did before!

I know what you mean. That's why this place is great. Many places with no phone poles. Or if there's a pole, then an osprey might be on top.

Richard and I went to Miami University's new learning center in West Chester to hear a presentation by Dan Ariely, who was a very thought-provoking speaker.  We had a quick dinner at Skyline Chili and Richard dropped me off at our local public library for an AAUW meeting and he went to our former church across the street for Messiah rehearsal.  My friend Betty brought me home and I've been catching up on posts.

Always liked "Cherry Orchard" myself. But then again, I see that as a comedy, as Chekhov did, so I sit there and laugh when Madame R loses the farm while people around me are weeping. I guess I'm sick that way.

Sound like a great evening. I envy you the Skyline part. Am wearing my Skyline T-shirt now. And that's just not the same.

I was kind of hoping that at least one of our dearly missed dear readers would return, but alas, I guess it is not to be.

I'm here, I'm here!  I had to stop in and celebrate our remarkable milestone with you dear people out there in the dark.  I don't remember exactly when I joined the Hainsie/Kimlet ranks, but I know it was very near the beginning.  My DH Jed (then only a good friend) told me about this person called "The Real A" and how he had tracked him to this website, and he said I should check it out.  I did, and the rest, as they say, is history.  i have had a chance to meet some of the crew several times, and dear TCB has become a good friend in Tacoma (We need to get together for ice cream, dad!) I know I have fallen away since having Toby, but I still think about you people often and I treasure the wonderfully weird family we are here together.  I thank BK profusely for being the patriarch and bringing us all together.  Only he could have done it.

Today at work, I worked...and by the end of the day, officially switched all the stuff from my now former computer to my now new computer.  None of the actual stuff in my cubicle has moved, but starting tomorrow, I will now be able to actually work in my new space...of course, I still have a LOT to learn and it's really slow going, but it's going. :)
