Well, you've read the notes, the notes were in the home stretch, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently in the home stretch, too.

Good morning, all! Today I am back to Encores! to help Joshie finish up MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG for Monday's orchestra reading. Before I arrive there, I have stops at the bank and the post office.

After that, I've got plenty of work here. Yesterday I adapted Roy Webb's 1926 orchestration for "The Pipes of Pansy," which he scored for PEGGY-ANN, for the DEAREST ENEMY orchestra, and I'd like to finish up my perusal and revisions for the score over the weekend.

Ths morning, around 6am, I had a ghostly experience: a woman's voice spoke German - I think it was German - into my ear. This is the second occurrence of my hearing a person speaking close to my ear in the past two weeks. Since no one living has spoken into my ear in the past fifteen or so years, it has to be a ghost. While it freaked me out at the time, I can't say I'm frightened. Curious, yes.

More coffee.

Slept late again but I'm here at the office now.

I am part of a conference call from 11am to 12:30pm today. Ugh!

Last night we watched Greer Garson and Laurence Olivier frolic in Pride and Prejudice and then we started watching a short which was also on the disc, Eyes of the Navy. We didn't finish watching it. So much for 1940s war propaganda films.

We did, however, enjoy P & P.

DR TCB - no one needs to be out in the weather you are describing.....not even that little bird in that tree.

We are expecting major ice storms - but not until after 7 o'clock this evening - I hope.

I finished transferring the box of videos.....and then I realized that I didn't have SHOWBOAT or PICNIC or our original DON'T DRINK THE WATER.....all of which I included on my excerpts Video from about ten years ago.  That means of course that I have those videos.....there must be another box of tapes somewhere in the closet.

I shall look for it on Sunday.

Little sleep again last night, thanks to the cedar. Sneezed most of the night.

To answer your question from last night, JMK: "Scrooge" is on regular DVD. I don't have a Blu-Ray player yet.

DR JRand61, I just checked my daily horoscope online and it told me I'd have psychic experiences today!

It's time to make a new CD for the car, So I'll be choosing songs later tonight.  For some reason, "1900 Yesterday"  has popped up a lot on Cd's and Ipod lately.

Hmmm, should we maybe stick to the Marriott Marquis building where vixmom has to be before dinner and where you have to be after dinner, so that neither of you risks more rough sledding than you need to do?
