Details, DR Laura, details....this sounds most frightening. Were you able to trap any of the cats?

I had an exciting adventure trapping the feral cats last night on the property bordering the church and the local drinking club -- I mean service club.

One gentleman did not like the explanation I gave him about trapping them, getting them spayed/neutered, then bringing them back. He tried to convince me to leave. With a loaded rifle. I left.

You should call the SPCA and the police.  SPCA have legal authority...and the police might be interested to know you were threatened with a gun.

Will we never get to page four?  Perhaps if I eat a let of lamb.

We will get to page four even if you eat spare ribs.

That's not the dress I saw Dunaway in. She must have changed at some point in the evening. She was in a sack type long gown with acres of ruffles at about knee length going around the dress that made her look at least 50 pounds heavier than she already is..

I sure thought it was Faye Dunaway.

I finished watching the GREASE show that I had started last night.

Laura did a sizzling rendition of "Fever" with the guys that was unquestionably the best number of the evening.

I couldn't argue with Kevin being let go. I was very surprised with the choice for the girl they let go; I would have gone the other way, and this was proven almost immediately when she did a terrible song and dance, easily the weakest of the night. I feel sure she'll be dropped next week.

I think the photo I posted earlier was from a different show...the site is "tricky".

Is THIS the dress you saw last night?????

Friday night's LAW & ORDER had a story built around the recent O.J. Simpson book scandal. Bobby Cannavale played the "O.J." role in the story only he was a former baseball player who had been found not guilty of killing his wife. Clever end to the story.

CROSSING JORDAN borrowed a plot from one of the most famous episodes from ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS, the one where Joseph Cotton is paralyzed during a car wreck and paramedics assume he's dead. (The episode was called "Breakdown.")

JORDAN even had it down to the tear though a gushing open wound actually alerted them first when they were digging part of a bullet out of his arm. The tear came when they realized he was still alive.

Then, I finished the afternoon by completing a LAW & ORDER: CI that I had begun during the weekend. This was the one with Hal Linden and Michael Hayden playing secret lovers out to get him power of attorney for his daughter's vast fortune.

Oscar nominated short film "The Saviour" is quite a delight. 18 minutes well spent.

And, of course, the mother lode of DVDs arrived today: all three Criterions I was expecting plus the Alice Faye box. I doubt I'll get to any of them today.

I got four region 2 DVDs today - none of which are available here - they include Any Wednesday, William Castle's Homicidal

I am SO jealous. I LOVE Homicidal!

I was thrilled when they decided to show it at our Drive-Invasion a few years ago---they even handed out replicas of the voting cards!

Heading down now to clean the dining room and then settle in with something until the CBS comedies start at 8.

Back from a good and productive lunch meeting with Mr. Kevin Spirtas.  We're starting to put together an all new show for him for the summer, so he'll have two completely different shows to offer.  I think this one will be a lot of fun.  He liked my idea as to what it should be and I think we'll mold it around that very simple concept.

Yes, there is a new episode of HEROES and also new episodes of the CBS comedies, CSI: MIAMI, and '24.'

NBC's THE BLACK DONNALLYS begins tonight, but I have no interest in watching it.
CSI: Miami is a comedy?  24 is on CBS?

Such a day I've had!  All my cartons I shipped last week from Ohio arrived today via US Post Office and Fed Ex, I finished Kevin Spirtas' last chart, I've been collecting and tossing unwanted items into my "Sell on eBay" pile, and I just rceived a chart to score for Joanna Gleason.

The cleaning continues, and there was just this strange newscast that the tomb of Jesus has been discovered.  This wil cause a lot of turmoil among some of the kinky sects.

DR Elmore, I continue to be surprised and delighted by the Brain orchestrations. I was noticing today in the Brain's song that there were several little phrases that were quoted from "If I Only Had a Brain". I love finding little nuggets like that!

bk---the boys in the back room just finished dubbing the first cut of ACT II. I couldn't monitor it as it was laying down because of the way the router is set up, but I know you'll give me good notes. I will pop it in the self-serve mail tonight priority and send you a tracking number.

I'm also sending the revised Act I.

I am fine; I am glad DR Sandra stayed home and joined in the Oscar party here.

We had caught five of the supposed seven when the incident occured. We found the other two in the traps when were allowed out of the lockdown in the wee hours of the morning. This afternoon I was told there is still another one (it is hard to tell them apart when they are several long-haired black ones). I will try to catch it tonight, while the guy is "away."
