Remember that guy Ben or something who used to post here all the time?  Whatever happened to him?  ;D

Probably hanging out with former DRs Joey and Jason!

Hmm.. My roommate just called and said he was heading to Splash for Musical Mondays after dinner...  Alas, the more I sit here, the more I'm starting to zonk out.  -How do you 9-5ers do it?!?!?   ;)

I wouldn't know...never had the luxury of a 9-5.

My official day is 8:30-5:00, but it's more like 7:30-5:00.

And we go home, and we sit in our comfy chairs, and we knock out some ZZZZZ-Z-Z-s.

Draw strength from us, Larry!

Believe me, I do!  And I am grateful for it.  I am currently in a dilemma about travel times: how long to go, how soon, weather?  oy!

So I'll think about the TOD.  Today in a David Friedman song I started thinking about a line referencing this phrase that makes no sense to me: "talk the talk and walk the walk" and what the hell does "state of the art" mean?

"State of the art" means that it will be outdated next week.

Popeye's chicken may be yummilicious, but der B and I have decided to stop going to the local branch.  For one thing, the sides are absurdly expensive for what you get.  For another, the manager of the local branch is just plain nasty to her employees.   >:(

I always have the same thing - two mild chicken breasts (which come with two biscuits) - total cost under five bucks.  I've had their sides - they're okay, but not anything really need.

Excellent vibes and xylophones for elmore's dad - let's face it, they do work - if one reads back through the last year of posts our sending the haineshisway.com vibes and xylophones have got dad over several seemingly difficult humps - let's hope this is another.  Send 'em large, folks.

Just got back from an excellent event at the Lamb's Club, the premiere screening of a Jerry Herman documentary: "Words and Music by Jerry Herman." It was well done, very sweet and simple in its presentation. Several folks who have played roles in Jerry Herman shows over the years were there. As were Marge Champion and Don Pippin who contributed some fantastic super-8 footage of HELLO WORLD, MAME and DOLLY to the film.

Keep an eye out for this on your local PBS stations.

I do believe the vibes work!  I do believe!  Please keep them coming.

I'm wise enough to know he's lived a long productive life, that it's nearing the end, and nothing will save him or any of us.  I  only want his death when it happens to be swift, painless, and as unmessy as possible.  It's what I'd wish for anyone I cared for.

Thank you all for your good wishes.

And good night, dear people!
