Nice flowers DR MBarnum.

This year i went with impatiens only.  They seem to survive the best for me.  So i have 2 hanging baskets. One window box. 2 standing containers. And 2 gardens full of impatiens.  For some reason this year my favorites are the orange ones.

A new Theatre/Center for the Performing Arts is being built, not on the East or West Coast but in Fairfield, IA (that's in the southeast part of the state)! It's will be named after:

Stephen Sondheim

Perhaps Cillaliz can drop by when it's finished and give us a report. It will be a bit of a drive, but it sounds like fun!

I've seen quite a few BIG BROTHER commercials i believe on CBS.  They haven't shown any new footage. But they have been promoting it.

INteresting, perhaps she can...

IN Wisconson, the small town of Amherst has an incredible small theatre. It is gorgeous and they actually stage a lot of plays. It is on the banks of the Tomorrow River.

Is anyone having a problem connecting?  I'm not, and obviously there's a lot of people here posting, but dear reader Adriana Patti has contacted me and she's telling me that she can't get on here - Safari won't connect, nor firefox.  I'm on Safari right now, no problem, loads very fast, same with AOL.

Liza Eldred, her teenage daughter and the girl's friend found the female bobcat Saturday on U.S. 98 in south Baldwin County, wrapped it in a sweatshirt and drove it to an animal clinic for treatment.

Veterinarian Andy Duke said the women were "extremely lucky" that the bobcat, which had a broken paw, did not panic and injure them.

They were in "a lot of danger," Duke said.

Eldred believes the bobcat didn't harm them because it sensed they were trying to help.

"It was not moving, making a sound," she said. "It hissed once, so we stopped once so my daughter's friend could move into the (far) back seat."

Duke's staff named the 11-pound bobcat Bobbi. He said it is undersized at 10 to 12 months old, and the animals typically grow to about 35 pounds.

I simply don't watch CBS as often as you, it seems.  

I've seen no promos of any kind, thus far.  But I admittedly haven't watched CBS since the series finale of "Jericho" (or the season finale to "Survivor", whichever came first).
