I have no desire to be bitch-slapped just before leaving town.

I wanted to ask, how are you all finding those neat things--like the games on facebook?

This afternoon we took Sherlock for a walk on our road.  It was nice to get him out.  Fortunately we didn't see any of the neighbor dogs, who all would have been off-leash, unlike Sherlock who was on a leash.  We don't want any dogs near his face until it heals.  I'm glad we don't have a kitten.

Vibes for Sherlock. ~~~~~~~~

This is the first time i've logged on today. My 3 year old niece came on friday for halloween. And she ended up sleeping over twice. She is a lot of work!

I'm just getting ready to watch TAR!

Thanks DR Jennifer.  Your sister is so lucky to have you.  I was afraid to leave my children with my sister.  Lucky for me my niece was older and completely trustworthy.  Said niece now teaches autistic children.

BTW

Hello from Montreal

ITS COLD!!!!!
Compared to Florida

It is cold. But it's so odd, it changes daily.

Friday night (halloween) was surprisingly very warm. It must have been mid to low 50s.

Today is freezing (like 30).

But in a day or two it is supposed to get warm again (60).

Just read the 1950s singer Yma Sumac passed away.

I am not saying it was true, but my mother who was a singer, a pianist, and later a music teacher; said that she had been told by friends in the industry that Yma Sumac actually just reversed her real name (Amy Camus) and claimed to be from Peru, instead of the mid-west.

It would not surprise me if that were true, DR TCB. I have heard that story as well.

I didn't even take one. She had 2 costumes. One for daycare (she was a ladybug). ANd one for outside (it's too cold to wear costumes like that here, even when it's warm). She had a unicorn costume i got her 2 years ago. One of those snuggly ones. But she did not like wearing the hood part. So you don't see the unicorn's head!

I think her dad took a couple pics. But i hate it when other people take pics. Because they rarely take photos i like. When i'm doing it myself i know when i've got the shot i want.

Btw, megan was very good on friday. She loved it. She held my hand tight (it was very dark). But as soon as she got to the doors, she let go, and opened her bag. She was very happy with the experience~

In all my years of voting before Oregon switched to mail in ballots, I don't recall ever having to wait in line for more then a minute or so. In fact I usually found that the places were fairly empty.

My sis hasn't been feeling well, which is why my niece has been staying over so much.

One problem is that she doesn't want to leave. And she wants to stay over every single week.

My mom thinks that it's making my sister feel bad sometimes. Hopefully not.

Tomorrow i will hide the halloween chocolate and start eating better again and exercising a lot more. i'd originally just started "dieting" so my pants would fit. And once most of them did, i backed off a bit. But i think i'd like to continue so my really small pants will fit again. It's a shame to waste good clothes!

I was about to ask if your sister went out with on Friday.  My sympathy & vibes for her.  I'm sure it was very hard for her to miss Halloween.

Oh good.  I remember how fun it was to take our boys trick-or-treating, at least on warm night. :)

You could always try my diet tip: Have your niece sneeze on your food. Worked like a charm when Wae-Ling sneezed on my piece of birthday cake yesterday.

Back from the show - a weak play with moments, but the gals were great.

I must now eat my foodstuffs from Gelson's - a couple of egg rolls, some lobster salad, and a small thing of their righteous red potato salad.  For my snack later, I have some cucumber roll.

I had a very productive day, laundry, cleaned out the garage, cleaned out some of the eaves, sealed cracks around my stone porch,  pulled some weeds and cleaned up some more things outside.  I also installed some solar lights along my sidewalk.

My drywaller came this morning and finished taping and mudding.  Then he left and said he'd be back in a few hours...he never came back.  It bothers me a little, but even though I left the door open all day, I don't think it was totally dry, so it's probably for the best that he comes back later. Luckily that room has the sliding glass doors but the door into the rest of the house locks from inside the house, so I can leave the sliding glass door unlocked in case he wants to come back while I'm gone without worrying about someone else getting into the house

Allison Hayes often received the exact same review.

What is a few?
Is it the same
For me and you?

My few could be more.
Your few could be less.
So don't lock the door.
I'll clean up the mess.
