Well since we were sharing our garb for the day.... I am wearing tan dress pants, a denim blazer and a green striped top with a green cloth headband .

..... and on that note my freinds...

I must sign off and finish getting ready for work and head out. If it is quiet today I will try and sneak in. I will be putting in four - 10 hour days this week.

Take care and have a good day everyone!

Speakling of Dream Girls of all types - The most committed non-verbal acting performance of 2007 must be that lady in the freecreditreport-dot-com ad, who has to act around the singer singing "I Married My Dream Girl (But she didn't tell me her credit was bad)" dissing her character for having bad credit.  I keep forgetting that she's acting.

Or IS she?  Spooky!   ;D

And the word of the day is: INSOUCIANT!
The Los Vegas Police Department's CASINO UNIT in constantly having internal strife, due to the INSOUICANT attitude towards crime held by many of the detectives.

This just in from the BBC:

Quote
Bille Piper's risque ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl has been bought by US cable channel Showtime.
The station, also home to controversial shows such as lesbian drama The L Word and Dexter, plans to start running the first series in the Spring.

Rival channel HBO, home of The Sopranos, had also expressed an interest in the securing the show.

In the UK, the second series of the drama is due to start shooting within the next few months.

The show, based on an online diary written under the pseudonym Belle de Jour, attracted almost two million viewers on its debut last September.

Belle, who wrote about her life as an upmarket prostitute, has remained anonymous since first publishing her diaries in 2003.

It should be noted that this is not a spinoff from Billie Piper's previous BBC series, Doctor Who.

...I had decided to buy a new computer anyway and take our old one out to Long Island for Anthony's mother. Well, that's not gonna happen! That's the most disappointing thing....
You can still give the old computer to Anthony's mother.  She can use it as a dust collector knick-knack.

DR JoseSPiano or some other foodie can fill us in, but Penne Vodka is usually in a pink sauce [I think because a little cream is added to the tomato sauce base?].  It can have bits of bacon or prosciutto as well....
Penne alla Vodka is penne in a sauce made with crushed tomatoes, garlic, heavy cream and vodka.  Yes, it can have meat added, like sausage.  The vodka helps disolve the various flavors in the tomato and incorporate them into the rest of the sauce.  The heavy cream... well, it tastes good.

DR Jane has asked me to let you all know that she and DH Keith are visiting with DS Craig.  She has apparently had technical difficulties posting, and may not be able to post for a few more days.

But all are fine, and she says "hello" to you all!   :)

Later today, I shall be wearing comfortable black shoes, black socks, black pants, a black t-shirt, and a bright red shirt that has the words "checkout solutions" emblazoned over one breast.

My self-scan uniform.

The Santa hat has been retired until next December.

I'll let everyone use their imaginations as to what I'm wearing right now.

More fun that way.

(But no, I'm not wearing a tutu.  Tutus crumple when I sit down here at the computer.)

It looks like the rains may be done.  And about how awful they were - not.  They were steady on Saturday, but only a couple of times was it coming down hard.  What is forgotten is that LA and especially the Valley cannot handle even a day of rain of any substantial kind without everything getting messed up.  But to call it torrential or a horrible storm - uh, no.

I am not planning on serving der Brucer pasta for dinner tonight.

Since my shift doesn't end until ten o'clock, I've planned a simple plate of steak, tater tots, and zucchini.
