Dear sweet cute Callie meowed almost all night. She drove me nuts. Finally she quit and I was able to sleep. I woke up and both cats were curled up on the bed.  She's a little better today.  I'm hoping she has a quiet night
She wants to go "home."  :D

Great photos JRand.

I, too, will be avidly watching the Olympics. I have always loved watching them.  Heck, I don't even mind curling. I'm watching the pairs skating short program now.

Yeah, I know. I'm going to move a couple of her other favorite things into the bedroom tonight and see if that helps.

Sorry I have not checked in today.. I have been busy all day with a nasty little project: Cleaning the computer room.... and its respective closets...

Discovered a few interesting things: A CD that I misplaced and feared lost... some fabric, beads and embroidery floss. I just need to remember what I was going to make with that.

Reorganizing my genealogy data and material. It is reproducing at will..

I have the Madness of King George III in the VCR right now... NOt a huge fan of the winter olympics...

Back to digging in the closet and see what other interesting treasures turn up...

JRand55 and BK, you must see CHUSHINGURA!

Akira Takarada, Kumi Mizuno, Akihito Hirata, Yosuke Natsuki, Yoshio Tsuchiya, Akira Kubo, Yumi Shirakawa, Takashi Shimura, Sachio Sakai, Franky Sakai, Esie Amamoto, Tadao Takashima, Yuriko Hoshi, Kenji Sahara and Mie Hama are all in the very huge cast...

...and with music by Akira Ifukube...

......it is like watching a whole bunch of Godzilla/Rodan/Mothra movies...but without the monsters! And then there is Toshiro Mifune as well!

Ann and Jed your trip sounds great and am so pleased you enjoyed your dinner.

You might have found the drive home easier if you had done what Penny often does and spent the night with us.

We had about 2 inches of snow last night. It wasn't that much, but I was glad that the big part of the move is over.

I usually watch most of the figure skating and some of the various outdoor events.  I prefer to record everything so I can fast forward to the events I’m interested in.

Since Keith is no longer traveling :D I find I watch less and less of the Olympics each year.  He just isn’t interested in watching any of it.  Lately I have so little free time to watch on my own.  Oh, well, I would rather have Keith home than watch ice skating.

Just in case I have TIVO recording as much as it will hold.  I plan to at least catch some of the highlights.

Cillaliz how nice of the snow to wait until after the movers were gone.  Don't slip on any ice while you finish moving.

Sleep well tonight.

DRs Ann and Jed - what a lovely trip you've had!  I'm looking forward to hearing all about Jed's new library job.

DR Cillaliz - glad to hear that most of the move is completed.  We must have some photos when you have a chance.

The Winter Olympics are some of my favorite TV.  I follow figure skating pretty closely, but love to see the other events that I only watch during the Olympics.  Do you suppose someone invented that mogul skiing when they had to ski on a really beat up course?  Looks awfully hard on the knees.

LOL JRand...   ;D

I have not found them but I did find some scrapbooking tools I had misplaced and now I have two of them... Some of my supplies that I no longer want or use I plan on donating to one of the senior homes or retired living villages we have in this area.

I have some clothes and things I no longer want or use that are going to the thrift shop. However I have set aside some things for a freind to go through. They have having a rough time financially and If she wants them and they fit she can have them.

I am starting to put what I want back in...

I did find a box of sheet music and I wonder where that came from. There are some interesting scores. I like this particular one: I would like to teach the world to sing....  There are some interesting ones....

Well it may be awhile for interior photos. I'm not getting things done in a real speedy fashion. My new "enormous chair" and sofa are being exchanged for a smaller more stylized sofa and chair. I had to laugh at my salesman. When I told him they were too big for the room he said "Yeah I hear that a lot, a woman just called me and said she knew the moment she saw it, it was way too big".  Of course he was speaking about a chair, but I really had to laugh.
