ONE FRIED EGG

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fried and egg-like, and now it is time for you to post until the fried cows come home.

Topic of the Day...I think that these are all the Dustin Hoffman movies that I've seen:

Dick Tracy
The Graduate (although I barely remember this one)
Kramer vs. Kramer (or this one)
Little Big Man
Midnight Cowboy
Tootsie

Hi all!

Not much to say because I'm off to work except to tell Vixmom that I think I read someplace that the pink slime is IN McD's hamburgers as well.  Yuck.

Have a good day all!

Good morning, all! I slept rather well, except another night of strange dreams, the last one a frustrating one about the Appalachian Christmas show.

I may head to the NYPL at Lincoln Center around noon for some research. After the frusttrations of yesterday, it would be good to accomplish something. I need to look into office rentals today as well. Tonight I'm seeing Kurt Weill's STREET SCENE at NYU. I hope it's good.

Around 6pm last night I got an email from Dublin requesting my presence at auditions for a leading lady for the August recording. My first choice for the role is unavailable since she's singing the lead in THE MAGIC FLUTE in Chicago at the time. So, I'm awaiting the Dublin dates and then I can plan the rest of my year.

The news was that McD's had gotten rid of the pink slime. Guess it wasn't 100 percent all-beef burgers after all.

Day 2 in court went well, don't know all the details yet, but Tom does get his son 50% of the time with the papers saying he is the father figure, not the ex's new husband.

That was what he really wanted, not to let a mean drunk take over.

I get more time.  Hope this is a positive thing for me.

I always complained I did not have enough time, now I'm worried.

Don't figure.   ???

I have a soft spot for HARRY KELLERMAN (as awful as it undeniably is) only because of the "family" connection of Hoffman and Harris, both of whom were longtime tenants of my late Uncles.  I have recounted talking to "Dusty" one evening when I hadn't the faintest clew who was on the phone, and many years later after my second Uncle died, finding the locked safe full of signed photos of Ms. Harris, which was truly one of the oddest "discoveries" ever.

Thank you, DR JRand61! It is frustrating that I can find nothing on the Baltimore preview of DEAREST ENEMY, from a song list to a program or flyer. Perhaps, in retrospect, I should have gone directly from the Historic Society to the Baltimore Public Library.
