Hi all - just back after a late night. Started the evening meeting my friend Barbara for some Chinese food. Then we walked over to the Abingdon Theater and saw a show called "Sin," a play by Wendy MacLeod, which I actually found quite interesting once I got into it. It's billed as a Contemporary morality play. It takes place in San Francisco right before, during and after the 1989 earthquake, and interposes the natural disaster of the earthquake, amidst the troubled times of the AIDS epidemic. The production notes state that the play investigates how we pass judgment on other's shortcomings and the blurry line between "sinning" and just being human.
