Thanks, yes, DR VIXMOM, that is our site.  I am not the webmaster, so I can't take the credit (?) for it, and I am not listed yet.

So any information your friends want DR RODZINSKI....address wise, etc, can be found there.  I am only working Saturday and Sunday for now.  Don't want to be there TOO MUCH!  LOL

why are legs called gams anyhow?

What Ben said...!!!

Besides, calling them "yams" would just be rude.

Hhappy Guy Fawkes Day dear Tom!  Are you not going to go build a bonfire and trundle a Guy around in your wagon begging pennies for fireworks?

Vixdad tells me he misses his Guy Fawkes celebrations

DR Jennifer, as I understand it, the LOST casulty will be someone major. I have no idea who it will be, but I'm thinking Walt. I have also read that it may be Shannon, but again, that's just wild speculation.

I had read that the actor playing Walt is not going to be on the show for a little bit to see if he grows a lot (puberty time).  They've only been on the island for 44 days or so and if he had a major growth spurt within that short amount of time, it wouldn't be natural.  But then, maybe they can write it into the story.  Who knows?

We had two bonfire days each year.  The other was for DP Colin's birthday.  It was called Empire Day (Queen Victoria' s Birthday as well as that of Colin).
It is still celebrated as "Canada Day" I think . For Colin's Birthday no doubt as he has visited beautiful Canada on two occasions).

Home fireworks are now illegal in this country.

I got an Amazon package today (which included that new SONDHEIM SINGS Vol 2 that DR Michael Shayne was listening to the other day).

Unfortunately, the Ebay item I won should have come today, and it didn't get here. Rats!

If you notice that when you have the flash code in the message, it automatically adds the "http://" before whatever you typed.  Like Vixmom said, it's not to make your text flash (which would be a fun thing), but it's to add a link to a flash animation file, like "[url = ... " when we link to a website or picture.

I also had a very terrible night of sleep. I dreamed something was crawling on my face (I THINK it was a dream), which woke me at 2 a.m. Then, I dosed off and on the rest of the night having a hard time falling into anything like a deep sleep.

I half expected a nap to come my way this afternoon, but even after a heavy lunch, I didn't feel drowsy. Maybe I'll sleep like the dead tonight.

I started my afternoon's TV line-up with last night's SMALLVILLE. What a great set-up for Clark's father to run for office. Certainly might get him more screen time than he's been given this last couple of years.

Then I watched last night's REUNION. So, we finally found out which of the six stars is going to be murdered. And the most obvious suspect of the five (the priest) doesn't seem to be the most obvious to me at all.

The age make-up for these young cast people to make them look in their late 30s is pretty terrible, I think. (The girls come off better than the boys).

One funny line last night: one of the girls is an actress trying to break into Hollywood, and last night (set in 1989) her agent said he had set her up for a meeting with the producers for the film that's going to be the blockbuster of the year - HUDSON HAWK! I laughed out loud at that line.

Then, I put in Alfred Hitchcock's MR. AND MRS. SMITH. Not a great comedy or a great movie and totally different from anything else Hitchcock did in Hollywood. Supposedly, he did it as a favor for Carol Lombard, but honestly, he seems to throw it to Robert Montgomery. For me, it's his picture.

I have to admit, I did laugh more at this today than I did the first (and only other) time I saw it. I think Montgomery was a very good light comedian.

I loved Guy Fawkes Day as a kid in England. The bonfires scared me, but they were exciting, too. I didn't quite understand why they were burning a dummy, but it was a lot of fun to watch the sucker burn.

I also remember the Guy Fawkes figure at Mme. Tussaud's in London. I believe they had him down in the dungeon - the torture chamber - whatever they called it. Scary stuff!

Jennifer, I think Walt and Shannon were both major characters last year, much more so than many who have recently surfaced this season while neither of them has been used much at all recently. I don't think either would be missed, but I still contend that the major roles they played last year makes them major characters. (I think anyone who has received a major backstory flashback is a major character; don't see how you could think otherwise.)

Yes, I read that about the young actor playing Walt growing up too fast for the time line of the show. I think he's served his usefulness and could be dispensed with unless they have big plans for him later that we can't know about now.
