Hello, all!

Well, I found out earlier today that I'm officially cast in TAO's remounting of Cannibal! The Musical!  I will be playing the part of Nutter.  I don't remember which part that is, so I'll find out Monday.  We were supposed to have a read-through and potluck tomorrow night (when I would be working concessions for Kathy Najimy and the Seattle Women's Chorus), but Sunday's read-through/potluck has been cancelled.  We'll be having the read-through (but no potluck) on Monday.  I won't have to miss the read-through and I won't have to feel guilty about seeing Kathy Najimy and the Seattle Women's Chorus!

And now, goodbye!  I also went to work today and got back a couple of hours ago but now I'm off to see a local production of "Parallel Lives," written by Mo Gaffney and Kathy Najimy...who, I don't know if I've mentioned it, will be here in Olympia tomorrow night!  I can't wait!

Until later!

I like to eat dinner at 4:30 it stops me from munching before dinner.  I ate late tonight and munched way too much.  That box of Girl Scout cookies before dinner didn't help.

You have Girl Scout cookies already?  I tried to buy Camp Fire mints from the young ladies and gentlemen, but they were SOLD! OUT! OF! MINTS! {Sorry, I have been keeping that in all afternoon.}   So I had to buy their Almond Caramel Clusters instead.  I am guessing that there may be four clusters in this $5.00 box.

It has been years since I've seen Camp Fire mints.  This afternoon I meant to go online and see if they still sold them.  Today was the first day of Girl Scouts out selling.

We just had a fabulous dinner of miso soup, salmon, stir-fried carrots & cabbage, steamed Brussels sprouts, and rice.  We were celebrating a slight improvement in my aunt's condition and her impending move on Monday back to the transitional care unit at the retirement community.  I'm so glad that's scheduled to take place while my cousin is still here.

Good news!!  Your dinner sounds excellent.

Arnold is SOCIAL NETWORK your favorite movie of the year or your guess it will win best picture?

Social Network IS my Favorite Movie of the Year. It is a movie that speaks brilliantly (in my mind) to the times we are living in.
It probably will be a horse race between SOCIAL and KING'S.

You would have thought that today was the first day of Spring.  The line of cars trying to get into the park was huge.

Of course, by four p.m., when the sun began to sink over the horizon, the park emptied pretty quickly.

Had a great dinner at tiny little Italian restaurant tonight, which, as it turns out, is run by old friends. Started with smoked salmon with a great olive oil, followed by a risotto filled with mascarpone and green peppercorns. Main course was an aged fillet with a Barolo sauce and sauteed mushrooms. Dessert was an almond roll with an almond cream filling. Very nice. Friends loved it.
