Today I was at church, then we went to see a show at Phoenix Theater.

What show did you see?

As for tonight's "The Amazing Race"....

I'm happy with the Final Three.  It's definitely going to be an interesting finale/finish.

DR Ben - Do you and/or Anthony have the capability - equipment - to transfer something from VHS to DVD?

Are any other DRs so equipped, so to speak?

I can...unless the video is copy-guarded.

Nope. I just want to get my college recitals transferred to DVD, so they're "homegrown".  I guess we could barter mug(s). ;)

I'm feeling a little better tonight. I've been relaxing a bit.  I also did some work on something I've been stressed out about.  I'll easily be able to finish what I need to do at the office tomorrow. So that's a big relief.  I should go to bed, but I'm not tired yet.

I agree.  It was stupid to give up on that challenge.

I bought a USB turntable on sale yesterday.   I've been meaning to get back to my project of getting my dad's old records on tape for a couple years.  The other set up I had didn't work very well.   Does anyone have a good suggestion for software to clean up the fuzz or does it come with the turntable...I haven't opened it yet

I did  find a Toshiba 26 inch tv for the waiting room.  It's nothing fancy, but I don't need fancy in the waiting room, just something to help people pass time.   I do need to mount it and I don't understand much about how to do that.  I want a mount that swivels so you can move it if you need a different angle to see the tv.    The specs I saw said I need a VERSA 100x200, but I have no idea what that means.  Can anyone explain that to me?  Thanks

I am so happy that I"m down to one more thing to buy for the office.  I want a little writing desk for the library.  Just enough for a laptop or a monitor if there is something that I need to show people at the conference table.  It's been nice to be able to hit the sales for everything I need.  I've really done a lot of shopping around and am amazed how much I've saved by doing that.

I'm going to go just a titch over budget on this project, but not much.  I underestimated how much it would cost to do the phone and computer wiring.  I decided to go with the guy who knows what he's doing.  Without phone and/or computer...I can't do my business.  So it's worth it.  But, other than that, I'm pretty much in my  budget.  I'm very pleased about that.  I know it isn't over, but I'm pretty close on the things I need to pay for

I don't think I've seen this mentioned already, but if it has, my apologies for the duplication.  But if this is still new news...

I've spent the last two hours beginning the arduous work that is doing an editing road map for an upcoming project.  I have to load all the tracks into iTunes.  Then I put the DVD of the film in the computer and it is so time consuming locating each track - as the music comes up in the film, I then have to go to iTunes and locate it and this is not as simple as it seems, since for the film cues are abbreviated, cut together differently, and the order in which they're recorded has nothing to do with film order.  Fortunately, some of the tracks have slates that are easy to identify, so that helps a little but not always.  In the two hours I worked on it, I got thirty minutes into the film.

CONGRATS TO DR GINNY'S DH RICHARD ON HIS ORDINATION!!!

-What is his exact title now? How should he be announced/addressed?

"Please meet Mrs Palmer's Father Richard" should engender adequate confusion.
